The latest moves, appointments and personnel changes around the world during July.
EMEA moves for July 2025
UK wealth manager Canaccord Wealth appointed Matthew Keen and
Michael Clark as it expanded into the Independent Financial
Advisor (IFA) market.
Keen joined from Charles Stanley where he spent six years
providing tailored solutions to intermediaries. Prior to that,
from 2008, he was with Scottish Widows. Clark, responsible for
the East of England at Canaccord Wealth, has a track record in
intermediary distribution. He came from investment platform group
Wealthtime, where he served as regional sales manager supporting
advisory firms across the region.
UK wealth manager Charles Stanley named three new business
development managers: Amanda Hallam, Lee Jones and Charlotte
Woodward. Hallam previously worked at Multifonds-Temenos as
regional sales manager for funds. Woodward came from
EdenTree Investment Management, where she spent four years as
regional sales manager, following business development roles at
James Hay Partnership and Verbatim Asset Management. Jones
previously worked at Morningstar as business development manager
across its MPS and multi-asset solutions.
Ocorian, a specialist in asset servicing for private markets and
corporate and fiduciary administration, recruited Craig Rowland,
based in London. He has nearly 20 years’ experience in senior
business development roles.
UBS Asset Management appointed Amanda Rebello as head of exchange-traded funds and index fund sales. She succeeded Clemens Reuter, who retired after 15 years at UBS and more than 30 years in the industry. The UK team at the UBS global wealth management business appointed former Barclays figure David Stone as a client advisor, and François-Olivier Mercier as head of global family and institutional wealth (GFIW) UK. Mercier has held the position since 12 June after Michael Frey was promoted to head for high net worth business in the UK. Throughout his career at UBS, Mercier has served in several positions and continued most recently as team lead, global family and institutional wealth, UK. His experience includes roles in global markets, equity capital management (ECM) block trades, and head of the Europe, Middle East and Africa ECM syndicate within the investment bank for UBS, before he joined global wealth management in 2023.
Johnston Carmichael Wealth appointed Leigh Townsley as a chartered financial planner, based in Glasgow. Townsley has more than 25 years of experience in financial services, including 18 years as a qualified financial planner. She has worked in several firms, such as NFU Mutual.
US law firm Dechert appointed Joseph Dennis as a partner in its corporate and securities practice group, based in the firm’s London office. Dennis, who has more than 15 years of experience, advises on domestic and international private equity funds, as well as financial investors, portfolio companies and management teams.
Robeco appointed Anton Eser as chief investment officer (CIO) and a member of its executive committee. Eser succeeded Mark van der Kroft, who was due to retire on 1 October 2025 after having served as CIO at Robeco since 2020.
Former Waverton Investment Management CEO Nick Tucker retired
from his role as a non-executive director at W1IM Wealth
Management – formed from Waverton’s merger last July with London
& Capital. His retirement drew the curtain on a financial career
spanning more than four decades. Tucker spent almost a decade at
UBS, more than 23 years at Merrill Lynch, and most recently more
than four years as CEO at Waverton Investment
Management.
European asset manager DWS Group said Vincenzo (Enzo) Vedda had
joined the executive board of DWS as chief investment officer.
Vedda, who has been at the firm since 2013, had already
taken on the role of the group's head investment strategist
in November 2024.
International law firm Charles Russell Speechlys appointed Mark
Dewar as partner in the commercial team, and Greg Stonefield,
partner in the corporate team, both are based in London.
Specialist UK asset manager Liontrust promoted Clare
Pleydell-Bouverie to co-head of the Global Innovation team.
Alongside her fellow co-head Storm Uru, Pleydell-Bouverie is
co-lead manager of the team’s three strategies – Global
Innovation, Global Technology and Global Dividend – which are
distributed to UK, European and South African clients.
Pleydell-Bouverie was a founding member of the Global Innovation
team, alongside Uru. Prior to Liontrust she worked in global
equities at Neptune Investment Management and in private equity
research.
A former senior Standard Chartered figure, Harish Hemandas, was
appointed to join Nomura’s international wealth management
business in Dubai. Hemandas became head of Nomura Singapore
Limited (NSL) Dubai International Financial Centre branch.
Hemandas reports to Anurag Mahesh, who is coverage head for
Southeast Asia, global South Asia and Middle East, at Nomura.
Adil Khan, who was the former senior executive officer of Nomura
Singapore Ltd’s DIFC branch, left the firm.
Franklin Templeton promoted Harry Reeves to head of UK wholesale.
Reporting into Andrew Ashton, head of UK, Reeves, oversees
private banks, global financial institutions, strategic accounts,
and managed portfolio services channels, in addition to his
responsibilities overseeing wholesale sales activities in the UK
market. Reeves joined Franklin Templeton in 2020 as part of the
Legg Mason acquisition and was most recently head of sales, UK
wholesale.
Liechtenstein-headquartered VP Bank appointed Roland Kläy as the
new chief financial officer. He filled a vacancy left by the
departure last June of Roger Barmettler. In recent months,
Philippe Wüst served as interim CFO. Kläy has over two decades of
experience in finance and risk management. Most recently, he was
co-founder and a member of the executive management of radicant
bank ag, where he had served as chief financial and risk officer
since its inception; he also acted as co-CEO for a period.
Coutts appointed Dame Anne Richards as successor to Lord Remnant
as chair after the latter said in January that he intended to
retire for personal reasons. Richards is vice chair of Fidelity
International and chair of TheCityUK Leadership Council. She is a
past CEO of Fidelity International and M&G Investments, as
well as having held senior positions at Aberdeen Asset
Management, Mercury Asset Management and JP Morgan.
TIME Investments hired Madeleine Ingram as head of strategic
partnerships. Ingram, who has almost 20 years of investment
experience, previously worked at private equity fund manager,
Calculus Capital.
Saffery Trust Cayman appointed two associate directors. Jessica
Turnbull joined as associate director of compliance, a
newly-created role. Aline Koitzsch-Shaboodien joined as
associate director of corporate and shipping.
Mourant, an international professional services and law firm,
appointed new partner Tom McLaughlin to join its Cayman Islands
Corporate practice. Previously, McLaughlin worked at Dentons New
Zealand where he was a partner in the banking and financial
Markets team. Prior to that, he was a member of another offshore
professional services firm's multi-disciplinary private equity
team.
Evelyn Partners hired a former pro rugby player, Alex Tait, to join the financial planning team in its Newcastle office. Born and bred in the northeast of England, Tait made 271 appearances for Newcastle Falcons, scoring 200 points in a 17-year career with the Premiership club. He left the professional game in 2023. In his new wealth management role, he is an associate director. The firm added to its presence in the South East of England, appointing Hayley Jarvis to work in its Chelmsford financial planning team. Jarvis joined from Essex-based financial planners Forrester-Hyde. She has worked in financial services since 1996, with global insurers as well as with national and local independent financial advisors.
Evelyn Partners appointed Catherine Kirchmann as a partner,
investment management. Kirchmann is based at Evelyn Partners head
office in Gresham Street, in the City of London. Kirchmann is a
senior wealth management professional, whose career of more than
25 years in the sector included periods working in London and
Hong Kong supporting high net worth clients and leading
teams.
7IM Private Client appointed Angus Robertson as associate
director, financial planning and promoted Morgan Leask to
associate director. Robertson joined from St James’s Place.
Morgan, promoted from her role as a technical paraplanner, joined
7IM as a trainee paraplanner while studying for her professional
qualifications. Previously, she worked as a client manager at
Murphy Wealth.
DBS Bank appointed Loic Voide to the newly-created role of head
of private banking for Middle East & Africa. He is based at DBS'
branch in the Dubai International Financial Centre. Voide was
most recently CEO and chief country officer of Deutsche Bank
(Switzerland). Prior to that, he served as co-CEO and head of
private banking for Middle East and Africa. At DBS, Voide reports
to Vikas Jaidka, region head (Middle East, Africa, NRI), DBS
Private Bank.
Ann Prendergast, executive vice president and head of EMEA at
State Street Investment Management, was appointed as the new
chair of the UK-based Investment Association’s board of
directors. Prendergast, who joined the IA Board in May 2024,
replaced Patrick Thomson, CEO, EMEA, JP Morgan Asset Management.
She has over 30 years of experience in the investment management
industry, including two decades at State Street Investment
Management.
Constantine Law, a consultant-led employment and regulatory
specialist law firm, recruited Tina Lakhani as a new partner to
join its regulatory team. Lakhani is an experienced lawyer,
police station representative and higher court
advocate.
Following the completion of BNP Paribas Cardiff’s acquisition of
AXA Investment Managers, (AXA IM now part of BNP Paribas Group)
and BNP Paribas Asset Management made transitional leadership
appointments for the future investment platform. Isabelle Scemama
was appointed to lead the combined alternatives capabilities,
across AXA IM Alts, AXA IM Prime, BNPP REIM and BNPP AM’s Private
Assets, in addition to her current role as global head of AXA IM
Alts. Rob Gambi was appointed to lead the combined liquid
investment capabilities, across AXA IM Core and BNPP AM, in
addition to his role as global head of Investments at BNPP
AM.
NatWest Group’s wealth businesses – including Coutts – appointed
Betsy Munro as their new chief financial officer. She is due to
take up the role on 1 October, subject to regulatory approval.
Until Munro joins, Stuart Nimmo is serving as interim CFO
for the wealth division, alongside his responsibilities as retail
CFO. Munro will succeed Siobhan Boylan, who was appointed
CFO of abrdn [now Aberdeen] in February. Munro has more than
three decades of experience at JP Morgan, where she most recently
served as chief financial officer and head of business management
for its international private bank.
Coutts appointed James Todd as managing director, Coutts
coverage, reporting to Wealth CEO, Emma Crystal. Most recently,
Todd was head of the UK Domestic Private Bank at JP Morgan. He
spent 15 years at Barclays where he served in a number of
senior roles including, head of Barclays UK Domestic Private
Banking and head of Family Office.
Global private capital fund administrator, Gen II Fund Services
(Gen II) appointed Ben Mardon as head of real assets, Europe. He
is based at Gen II’s Mayfair office in London. Earlier in his
career, Mardon served in senior roles at State Street, including
managing director and COO for the London Alternative Investment
Solutions (AIS).
Quantum Advisory a pensions and employee benefits consultancy for
small and medium-sized schemes and employers, appointed
Anne-Marie Gillon as principal investment consultant within its
Fiduciary Management Oversight team.
UBS Global Wealth Management appointed Alex Clayton as a client
advisor in its high net worth team in London. Clayton was
previously at Nedbank Private Wealth, where he served as a
private banker managing a book of high net worth clients, many
with international exposure and UK connections.
Mirabaud & Cie (Europe) appointed Émilie Serrurier-Hoël as chief
executive officer, based in Luxembourg. She heads Mirabaud
group’s European wealth management business and
succeeded Jeff Mouton, CEO of Mirabaud & Cie (Europe) from
2021 to 2025, who decided to leave the firm to focus on other
professional projects. Serrurier-Hoël reports to Nicolas
Mirabaud, chairman of the board of directors of Mirabaud & Cie
(Europe) and managing partner of Mirabaud, the group’s holding
company.
Deutsche Bank made a series of senior appointments in its home
market in Germany, and restructured some of its operations in the
country. Nasim Amini joined the bank to run the South Germany
region. He joined from HypoVereinsbank. At HypoVereinsbank, he
was head of ultra high net worth and investment advisory; prior
to this, he worked at Commerzbank for more than 22 years.
Amsterdam-based Theta Capital, a European investor in blockchain
venture capital, appointed Gijs Burgers as chief operating
officer, and Eduard van Asten as head of compliance and risk.
Burgers was previously COO at the Nasdaq-listed company Hilbert
Group AB. Van Asten was previously head of compliance and
risk at Zing NL (a subsidiary of HSBC) aiming to create a
global digital payments application.
River Global, a boutique active equity asset manager, appointed
Donald Amstad as chief client officer (CCO), reporting to
Matt Hudson, CIO. Amstad has more than 40 years of global
financial markets' experience working on the sell and buy
sides.
M&G appointed Nadia Nikolova as chief executive officer of responsibility. Nikolova, formerly head of direct lending at Allianz Global Investors, succeeded Rochus Mommartz, who decided to retire after 22 years with responsibility since it was founded in 2003. Nikolova reports to Emmanuel Deblanc, CIO of private markets at M&G Investments and chair of responsibility.
DWS appointed Benjardin Gärtner as global head of equities. He
joined from Union Investment. The former global co-heads of
equities, Andre Köttner and Dr Thomas Schüßler, along with the
head of equities in the US, David Bianco, became part of his
leadership team. Gärtner reports to Vincenzo Vedda, global chief
investment officer at DWS. Prior to his tenure at Union
Investment, Gärtner served in positions at Deutsche Bank in
Frankfurt and London, including co-head of the German equities
team.
LAVA Advisory Partners, a London-based, lower-mid-market M&A
advisory firm, appointed Paul Joyce as a new partner. Joyce
joined from Forvis Mazars, where he spent the last eight years
building and leading the London M&A team.
Brown Shipley appointed Katrina Johnson as head of the North region. Reporting to CEO Robert Kitchen, Johnson based in Manchester oversees Brown Shipley’s Manchester, Leeds, Edinburgh and Birmingham offices – working with each office head and Simon Smith, head of South region. Johnson previously served at Barclays Wealth Management, where she spent 17 years in senior private banking and operations roles.
J Stern & Co, an investment partnership, returned to Frankfurt with a new office, 220 years after the S H Stern merchant bank was founded. Andreas Krebs was named head of Germany, formerly with Mandarine Gestion, where he was managing director in Paris and Frankfurt, and a partner.
Wealthtech solutions firm Etops appointed former Avaloq senior figure Andrea Bosetti as group chief financial officer. Bosetti joined Etops with over 25 years’ experience in senior financial roles within the technology and financial services sectors. Most recently, he served as group head of business controlling at Avaloq in Zurich.
International law firm Charles Russell Speechlys appointed
Richard Burger as a partner in the commercial dispute resolution
team, based in the UK. Burger was formerly at WilmerHale where he
co-headed the London investigation and criminal litigation
team.
Independently-owned Stonehage Fleming, a multi-family office,
made a series of promotions to director across the group’s
services and global locations.
In the family office division, Darryn Faulds, Ryno Visagie and
Luan Fouche (Johannesburg), Keri Breadner and Tessa Burrows (Isle
of Man), Leanne Stuart (Jersey) and Udayesing Bheergoonath
(Mauritius) was promoted to director. In investment management,
Archie Burt, Mark Leshnick, Miki Caves and Philip Richardson
(London) and Brad Fainsinger (Johannesburg) were promoted to
director. Cecile Schlub in legal and tax advisory (Monaco) was
promoted to director, as were Eugene Johannes (Cape Town),
Michelle Weipers (Isle of Man) and Stefano Marzo (Neuchatel) in
Group Services.
Julius Baer, the Swiss private bank, named a former Citi Private
Bank senior figure, Antonia Murga, as its new market head for
Latin America. She is based in Geneva and is bringing a team with
her from the US bank. As part of the role, Murga reports to
Carlos Recoder and Thomas Frauenlob, co-heads Western markets and
Switzerland. For three decades, Murga worked at Citi Private
Bank, most recently for the past decade heading its Latin America
Europe business.
North American moves
RBC Wealth Management – US
RBC Wealth Management – US welcomed the Hudson River Wealth Management group to its Westchester, New York branch. The eight-member team joined from UBS: Steven Solomon, managing director – financial advisor; Lauren Konstantin, managing director – financial advisor, portfolio manager – portfolio focus; Kevin Bertoncin, senior vice president – financial advisor; Roger Matles, senior vice president – financial advisor; Leonard Solomon, senior financial associate; Izabella Wszolek, senior business associate; Peggy Athanasatos, senior registered client associate; and Elena Tashlitsky, registered client associate.
The firm also opened a new branch in Franklin, Tennessee, bringing in two teams from Janney Montgomery Scott.
The MD Wealth Management Group comprised Brad Dickens, senior vice president – financial advisor; Jason Minor, first vice president – financial advisor; and Colton Wright, senior client associate.
The JS Wealth Management Group comprised Jim Stephens, senior vice president – financial advisor; Jamie Smith, senior vice president – financial advisor; Sheala Smith, senior branch service manager; and Ben Davis, MBA, senior client associate.
Others firms
AssetMark, a provider of wealth management and technology solutions, appointed Phill Rogerson as senior vice president and head of the RIA channel. He reports to CEO Michael Kim.
Savvy Advisors, an RIA, added Perspective 6 Wealth Advisors, a Minneapolis-based team led by Matt Nelson, Matthew J Finley and Jacob LaRue. Perspective 6 serves clients nationwide, with concentrations in Minnesota, Wisconsin, California and Florida.
Separately, Savvy welcomed 12 advisors from across the US:
Alex Barnes (Fort Mill, South Carolina); Josh Bergman (New York,
NY); Kristin Dunlevy (Prospect, Kentucky); Scott Jensen
(Minneapolis, Minnesota); Greg Kirwan (North Kingstown, Rhode
Island); Lee Levy (Alamo, California); Evan Melching
(Indianapolis, Indiana); Luis Miletti (Louisville, Kentucky);
Aaron Peloquin (Minneapolis, Minnesota); Dustin Roberts (Turlock,
California); Dave Sharpe (Lake Geneva, Wisconsin); and Dustin
Thomas (Indianapolis, Indiana).
Former LPL Financial CEO and chairman Mark Casady also joined Savvy’s board of directors.
SEI appointed Amy Sliwinski as executive vice president and chief people and culture officer. She reports to Sean Denham, chief financial and chief operating officer. Sliwinski was most recently chief human resources officer at an engineering solutions company and earlier served in senior leadership roles at Santander Bank.
Cresset made several senior leadership changes. Mike Silverman, executive managing director, was appointed chief investment officer. The current CIO was named chief investment strategist, and the existing chief compliance officer became chief operating officer. Jack Ablin, one of Cresset’s founding partners, has been with the firm since 2018. He was formerly CIO at BMO Harris Bank. Silverman joined Cresset in 2024 following its acquisition of CH Investment Partners, where he was co-president and CIO.
Dynasty Financial Partners appointed Shawn Shook as general counsel. Based in St Petersburg, Florida, he succeeded Jonathan Morris, who moved to a new role as executive in residency after more than a decade as GC.
HarbourVest Partners appointed former BlackRock executive Venu Krishnamurthy as managing director and head of global private wealth. He succeeded Alex Rogers, who is continuing as chief strategy officer.
UBS made several appointments in the US. J Mills-Pierre III joined as a financial advisor in Manhattan, reporting to Neal Cooper and Demie Kommatas. Kathleen Ferraro was appointed market director for the Greenwich and Stamford, Connecticut offices. Christopher Brolly joined as financial advisor in Boston, reporting to Robert Covino. Jack Heiss was appointed market director in Tampa, Florida.
IEQ Capital appointed Lauren Garner as managing director, based in Los Angeles. Garner was previously CIO of Mozaic, a family office.
A group of advisors formerly with UBS – Chuck Heare, Ross Heare, Tommy Goth and Jennifer Goth-Castillo – joined Ameriprise Financial’s independent channel. They had operated as Goth Heare Wealth Management Group.
Franklin Templeton appointed Rich Nuzum as head of outsourced CIO services at Franklin Templeton Investment Solutions. Based in New York, he reports to Adam Petryk. Nuzum previously spent more than three decades at Mercer.
Rockefeller Global Family Office added the Entrepreneurs Group to its private wealth platform in New York. The eight-person team joined from UBS, led by managing directors Emily Kramer Rubin, Kenneth Shapiro and Thomas Livaccari, alongside Todd Ives. The group also includes Spenser Yeager, Madeline Irvin, Samantha Wagner and Stacey Betsch. They report to Michael Outlaw, head of enterprise strategic growth.
AlphaCore appointed Dr David Stubbs as chief investment strategist, working with CIO Eric Gerster. Stubbs previously served in senior roles at Blackstone and JP Morgan.
Carson Group partnered with Crescent Financial of Seneca, South Carolina, led by Jan Fredman and Lori Kelley.
InspereX appointed Mark Whyman as managing director, RIA and private market solutions. He reports to Deryk Rhodes.
Partners Group appointed John Sievers as head of private wealth solutions, based in New York. Sievers was previously at Brookfield and Oaktree Capital.
Hightower Advisors appointed Scott Hadley as chief advisory officer. He was previously senior vice president of RIA Solutions at Osaic.
Envestnet appointed Sue Quackenbush as chief people officer. She was most recently CPO at Dynatrace.
Osaic added Daniel Leugers as a financial advisor, launching BlueHaven Wealth Management in Hudson, Ohio. It also added Bridenback Wealth Management, led by Brent Bridenback, based in Cle Elum, Washington.
LinePoint Partners appointed James Chirdo as chief operating officer and chief compliance officer.
Sanctuary Wealth welcomed Velorum Wealth Management in Indianapolis, led by founder Bernard Reed.
Carnegie Investment Counsel appointed Skye Barry as senior vice president and wealth advisor, based in Cincinnati.
William Blair appointed Robert D Kendall as global head of investment management, succeeding Stephanie Braming.
Fiduciary Trust of New England appointed Elisabeth Sexton as vice president and trust officer in Manchester, New Hampshire.
RWA Wealth Partners promoted Nicole LaChapelle as president of RWA Family Office and Steve Reder as president of RWA Private Wealth.
LPL Financial welcomed Brandon Dixon-James to launch Resilient Wealth Management in Fresno, California.
JP Morgan Private Bank appointed David Frame as global CEO. He continues to report to Mary Callahan Erdoes.
Allfunds appointed Daniel Jesus Alonso as head of US, based in Miami, replacing Laura Gonzalez.
EFG International appointed Luis Ferreira as CIO for the Americas and deputy CEO for the RIA business in Miami.
Northern Trust appointed Abel Montañez as president of the West region, succeeding Marc Cosentino.
True North Advisory Group appointed Matt Kourouma as financial advisor, based in Maple Grove, Minnesota.
DeVoe & Co appointed Gordon Ross as president, overseeing day-to-day operations.
Triad Partners named Derek Sullivan as CFO and Scott Rinehart as president and chief wealth officer of Triad Wealth Partners.
Raymond James
Raymond James made several additions:
Eric Holbrook joined its independent advisor channel in Logan, Utah, forming Holbrook Wealth Strategies.
Robert Chanin joined its employee advisor channel in Macon, Georgia.
Jonathan Israel joined in Woodland Hills, California, forming Legacy Point Wealth Management of Raymond James.
Jonathan Stanley joined its independent channel from Edward Jones.
Katrina Consiglio and Kristen Mahan joined as co-founders of Consiglio Mahan Wealth Management in Florida.
Paul Hess joined as financial advisor with Silverman Partners in
Boca Raton, Florida.
Asia-Pacific
RBC Wealth Management appointed a number of senior private
bankers across Hong Kong and Singapore.
Singapore
RBC appointed Christopher Chin as executive director. Chin previously worked at Julius Baer, Bank of Singapore and HSBC.
It named Low Keow Teck (“KT”) as executive director. He was most recently market head for North Asia at UOB Private Bank, and earlier served in leadership roles at DBS Private Bank, Société Générale Bank & Trust, HSBC Singapore and Citigroup.
The bank appointed Raymond Heng as managing director. Heng has more than three decades of corporate and private banking experience, including 17 years at UBS, where he most recently served as market head overseeing teams supporting clients across Thailand, the Philippines and other regional markets.
RBC also appointed Wilson Khoo as managing director. Khoo has more than 20 years’ experience, particularly in serving clients from mainland China and Taiwan. Previously, he worked in senior positions at Citi Private Bank, JP Morgan Private Bank and DBS.
Hong Kong
The firm appointed Flora Kam as executive director. Kam, who joined from Bank of Singapore, has also worked at Credit Suisse, UBS and JP Morgan in Hong Kong.
RBC appointed Nce Pan as executive director. Pan, who has more than 20 years’ experience in asset management and investment banking, was most recently a founding partner of DSG Group.
The bank appointed Mark Chan as executive director. With more than 30 years of industry experience, Chan joined from Morgan Stanley where he supported Greater China clients.
Separately, Cynthia Jacinto, market head for Southeast Asia, left the firm. Based in Singapore, she joined RBC in 2022 from Morgan Stanley.
Royal Bank of Canada appointed Bee Leng Phua as chief operating officer for its wealth management business in Asia. Bee Leng Phua succeeded Kamran Azim, who continued to serve the bank as head of private banking (Singapore) and deputy CEO of RBC’s Singapore branch.
HSBC Global Private Banking set out a range of senior hires across Southeast Asia and selected jurisdictions.
HSBC appointed Joanne Ng as desk head for the Singapore team. Ng, who joined from OCBC Premier Private Client, has more than 22 years of wealth management experience. She reports to Hammad Hashmi, market head for Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia.
The bank appointed Tim Morse as senior business development manager, based in Australia. An industry veteran, Morse previously served in leadership roles at Citi, JP Morgan and Deutsche Bank.
HSBC appointed Tom Kinnear as a relationship manager covering Australia and international markets. He reports to Kapil Khanna, who was appointed desk head for Australia, Japan and international in July.
HSBC appointed Le Hong Sie as senior relationship manager in its Indonesia team and Leonard Eggert as relationship manager. Both report to Urban Binggeli, desk head for Indonesia.
In Malaysia, HSBC appointed Rayner Wong from Julius Baer and Samuel Chi Hao Kee from HSBC Premier as relationship managers.

HSBC appointed Sami Abouzahr as global head of investments and managed solutions in its wealth and premier solutions division. Abouzahr also took charge of the ultra-high net worth solutions group, succeeding Jan-Marc Fergg.
HSBC appointed Ann Ling as regional head of wealth planning and advisory for Asia-Pacific, succeeding Henry Lam, who retired. Ling is currently team head of wealth planning for Hong Kong, the Philippines and the international market.

OCBC said Tan Teck Long will be appointed group CEO in January 2026, succeeding Helen Wong, who will be retiring at the end of 2025.
