Law firm Charles Russell Speechlys appointed Gustina Singgih to join its corporate team, based in London. Previously, Singgih served as deputy general counsel at Babcock International Group, a global aerospace, defence and engineering services company.
HeAscot Lloyd, a UK-based financial advice firm, appointed Ben Waterhouse to the newly-created role of chief client officer, effective January 2026. He will be succeeding Gary Stirrup, following his planned departure as chief commercial officer. Waterhouse’s most recent role was as chief client officer at Schroders Personal Wealth.
M&G appointed Tim Page as chief compliance officer for its asset management business. He reports to Shawn Gamble, chief risk and compliance officer at M&G. Page has 20 years’ experience in financial services and joined M&G from Morgan Stanley Investment Management, where he served for 10 years.
Dubai-headquartered Klay appointed former UBS investment banker Ahmad Chaudry to the newly-formed role of global head of structured products and derivatives. He is based in Dubai. Chaudry, who has nearly 20 years’ experience of structuring and executing bespoke solutions across equities, fixed income, commodities and liquid alternatives, was previously at UBS Investment Bank in Hong Kong.
International law firm Withers appointed Ceri Vokes as its new chief executive officer. She formally takes on the leadership of the business on 1 July 2026. Vokes will move into the role through to July 2026, working with CEO Margaret Robertson, who has led the firm for nearly 25 years. Vokes is continuing to practise as a tax lawyer in addition to her role as CEO. She has been with the firm since 2006.
Liechtensteinische Landesbank (LLB Group) appointed Christoph Reich as group chief executive officer and chairman of the group executive board. Reich succeeded Gabriel Brenna, who left the company in mid-June 2025 to take on a new professional challenge. Reich has been with LLB Group for 15 years.
Vanguard appointed Gillian Hepburn as head of adviser solutions, UK. She reports to Doug Abbott, head of UK client group.
International advisory firm Hoxton Wealth made two senior hires to bolster its UK team in London. Katherine Rabaiotti joined from Titan Wealth as director of compliance. Jamie McNish was appointed as regional director for London; previously, he headed a St James’s Place office in the capital.
RBC BlueBay Asset Management appointed Russ Evans to the newly-created role of director, financial institutions business development. He reports to Matthew Rawlings, head of financial institutions – UK & Ireland. Evans was most recently co-head of the UK wholesale business at Royal London Asset Management, where he was responsible for UK regional sales.
Netherlands-based Ortec Finance, a global provider of technology and solutions for risk and return management, appointed John O’Driscoll as managing director, OPAL Financial & Wealth Planning. O’Driscoll was formerly divisional director, business development and advice at St James’s Place Wealth Management.
US-headquartered DoubleLine Capital appointed Ali Zaidi as head of international client business. Based in Dubai, he reports to DoubleLine president Ron Redell. Previously, Zaidi was head of client business for the Middle East and North Africa at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, also based in Dubai.
James Morton joined Syz Bank as UK lead, senior banker. Morton, who spent seven years at Lombard Odier, has experience advising UK and international ultra-high net worth families and supporting their needs from Switzerland. Before Lombard Odier, he served in senior roles at Barclays Private Bank and Barclays Wealth and Investment Management in London.
Patrick Robadey, who joined the external asset managers unit, is also part of the Zurich team. Formerly at Union Bancaire Privée, he has a track record of establishing new business partnerships. Alexander Metzger joined Syz Bank’s Geneva team as digital assets lead. Metzger was previously at AMINA Group.
After 18 years in the role, the managing director of the Swiss Association of Wealth Managers (SAM), Patrick Dorner, stepped down, leaving at end-December. Vivien Jain – former CEO of Aquila – will take over in 2026.
Quilter Cheviot appointed John Goddard as chief executive officer. Goddard succeeds Andy McGlone, who left the business after 31 years to pursue other opportunities. Previously, Goddard had a 28-year career at HSBC.
HarbourVest Partners appointed Michelle Han as head of global ex-US marketing. Based in London, Han reports to Ray Ahn, chief marketing officer. She has more than 25 years’ experience in marketing. Han joined from Schroders, where she was global head of growth and digital marketing.
New York-headquartered Fortress Investment Group appointed Rob Brindley as managing director in its European Client Product and Solutions Group (CPSG). Brindley will oversee relationships and fundraising with pensions and consultants across the UK. He is based in London and reports to Rob Reynolds, head of European Institutional Business Development.
GBST, a global provider of wealth management and advice solutions technology, appointed Steve Knight as head of relationship management to support its customer base. He reports to David Simpson, head of EMEA. Knight, who has 25 years’ experience in financial services technology, worked for SS&C Global Investor & Distribution Solutions (previously DST and International Financial Data Services) since 1999.
Weatherbys Private Bank hired two senior figures: Maria Khan as director of product and services, and Michael Juby as a banker. Khan was previously director of product and digital at Tandem Bank. Juby has spent his 30-year career serving high and ultra-high net worth clients, first at HSBC Private Bank and then at Citi.
Vialto Partners, headquartered in New York, named Matthew Harrison as a UK partner, leading the firm’s private client tax team in London. Harrison reports to James Bruce, UK chief executive. With nearly two decades of private tax advisory experience, he was previously a director within EY’s Private Client Tax practice.
Suntera Global appointed Chad Phillips as business development director, serving Africa-based high net worth and ultra-HNW families. He is based in Jersey.
Broadridge Financial Solutions appointed Michael McPolin as head of international market advocacy, covering Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific. Based in London, McPolin reports to Stephanie Clarke, head of international strategy and corporate development. He held leadership positions at JP Morgan and HSBC before joining Broadridge in 2020.
London-headquartered Spring Capital Partners, an independent fund distribution partner for boutique asset managers, appointed Anna O’Donoghue as chief operating officer.
Al Tamimi & Company, a full-service law firm in the Middle East, appointed Anton Konnov and Igor Gorchakov as partners. Konnov, who is qualified in England & Wales, New York and Russia, previously served as managing partner of A&O Shearman’s Moscow office. He has led teams on international transactions. Gorchakov, who is dual-qualified in England & Wales and Russia, holds full rights of audience before the DIFC courts in Dubai. He specialises in dispute resolution and banking matters, including international arbitration, cross-border litigation and financial regulatory compliance.
The firm also made additional hires: Omar Zizi joined as a corporate/M&A partner in Casablanca; Rachel Fox joined the Abu Dhabi office as a tax partner; Henry Storrar joined as a corporate/M&A partner in Abu Dhabi; and Paul Taylor joined as regional head of arbitration, based in Dubai.
Fasanara Capital appointed Sebastian Maciocia as director of capital formation, UK. Maciocia joined from Mercer, an investment consultancy.
Barnett Waddingham, a professional services consultancy, appointed Will Scobie as senior risk and resilience consultant. He previously spent 10 years at Horizonscan, a boutique consultancy specialising in risk and resilience.
Multrees Investor Services, an operational solutions provider for wealth managers and family offices, appointed Matt Bain and Ella Whitley to join its client development team. Bain has nearly 30 years of experience in investment management. Whitley returned to Multrees after earlier roles in marketing and client solutions from 2016 to 2020. Most recently, she was business development and operations manager for Whitley Asset Management, a Multrees client until it was acquired by Cazenove in late 2024.
Deutsche Bank’s global vice chairman of private banking, Salman Madhi, will be moving from London to the Middle East in 2026.
GIB Asset Management appointed Aled Smith as chief investment officer. Smith has more than 30 years of investment experience; his career has included senior roles such as deputy CIO at Ruffer, CIO at JO Hambro, and nearly two decades as fund manager and head of global equities at M&G.
Crestbridge Family Office Services (FOS) appointed private client and family office professional Steve Le Seelleur as managing director. Previously, Le Seelleur was managing director of the Jersey office of a private equity-owned global financial services business.
KKR (Kohlberg Kravis Roberts) appointed Mikael Markman as a managing director within KKR’s Global Client Solutions business. He is based in Paris and previously worked at Nomura.
Barclays made two senior appointments within its Private Bank and
Wealth Management (PBWM) UK and Crown Dependencies
businesses.
• Sid Azad joined as head of mass affluent and growth to lead the
unified mass affluent franchise. Azad has more than 20 years of
global financial services experience, most recently as a partner
at McKinsey & Company, where he co-led the European Wealth &
Asset Management practice.
• In the Crown Dependencies, Nick May took the helm from Paul
Savery as head of Crown Dependencies. He joined the PBWM
leadership team after Savery retired. May rejoined Barclays in
August 2024.
Constantine Law recruited a new partner. Vivien Cochrane was the third partner to join the regulatory team in 2025. Cochrane was previously a partner for four years at Shearman Bowen.
HypoVereinsbank appointed Stephan Grathenauer as head of wealth management in Munich. He succeeded Maurice Friedemann, who has left the firm. Grathenauer has held senior positions at firms including Rothschild & Co, where he was head of key clients for wealth management in Germany; Credit Suisse, as head of ultra-high net worth business for Germany; and most recently at Deutsche Bank as head of UHNW business in the South and East regions of Germany.
Amundi named former BlackRock senior figure Dominic Byrne as global head of its retirement solutions business. He is based in London and worked at BlackRock for 18 years.
Quintet Private Bank appointed three new members to join its board of directors: Mitchel Lenson, previously group chief information officer at Deutsche Bank; Antonio Lorenzo, former CEO of Scottish Widows and a member of the group executive committee at Lloyds Banking Group; and Carolina Minio-Paluello, founder and CEO of Vitruvya, a European technology platform.
Gen II Fund Services, a provider of tech-enabled fund administration, appointed Besmira Uruçi as executive director in its Luxembourg office. Uruçi has more than 13 years of legal and regulatory experience across fund administration, AIFM services, AML, compliance, fund marketing and distribution, delegation oversight and governance.
London-headquartered Coller Capital appointed James Peoples as director, head of Northern Europe private wealth distribution within its Private Wealth Secondaries Solutions (PWSS) team. Based in London, he reports to Boris Maeder, head of international private wealth distribution.
Indefi, a strategy consultancy to the asset and wealth management industry, opened a new office in London and appointed Nick Ring, former CEO of Columbia Threadneedle Investments EMEA, as chair of its UK business.
Schroders appointed Ed Mitchell as head of client group strategy execution and delivery, a new role at the firm. Mitchell, who previously worked at Henderson Global Investors and Barclays, reports to Matt Oomen, global head of the client group. Most recently, he was managing director and global head of distribution business operations at BNY Investments for six years.
Collas Crill appointed Justina Stewart as partner in the Cayman Islands, relocating from London.
Robeco expanded its global credit team across several
international locations:
• Michael Booth, senior global IG portfolio manager, based in
London;
• J D Rieber, consumer credit analyst, based in New York;
• Bradley Bull, TMT credit analyst covering telecom, based in
London; and
• Ben Taylor, junior euro IG portfolio manager, based in
Rotterdam.
Old Mill, based in the UK’s South West, appointed Kathryn Mansell as head of corporate finance. Mansell joined Old Mill a decade ago, starting her career in the Exeter commercial team.
Arbra Partners, an international asset management, wealth advisory, M&A and private markets boutique, named Laurent Mazens as CEO of its Geneva business. Mazens has held executive positions in Singapore and Switzerland, most recently as chief executive of Stanhope Capital (Switzerland) SA in Geneva.
J O Hambro Capital Management appointed Bill Street as its new CEO. Street, who has more than 34 years of investment management experience, has worked for firms including State Street Global Advisors, PwC, Quintet Private Bank, Unicredito and JP Morgan.
Rothschild & Co made two senior client-focused appointments in
its UK wealth management business.
• Peter Hindle, previously head of UK regions for Rothschild & Co
Wealth Management, became head of client teams.
• Chris Oliver joined as head of client strategy and
execution.
Hindle joined Rothschild & Co from Credit Suisse in 2015. Oliver
has 20 years’ experience in financial services, focusing on
wealth management. Having started his career at PwC, he spent 15
years at UBS in a variety of key roles.
Nedgroup Investments appointed Denis Skeate to join its client team. Previously, Skeate served as sales director within the UK client group of Ninety One, bringing more than 20 years’ experience in asset management.
RBC BlueBay Asset Management appointed Doris Santillana to the newly-created role of finance head in business development. Santillana, who reports to Viola Patock, head of continental Europe, is based in the firm’s newly-opened Paris office on Avenue Raymond Poincaré.
Stonehage Fleming appointed Patrick Guarda to the newly-formed role of global head of insurance solutions. Based in Zurich, Guarda reports to Mark McMullen, partner and CEO of the family office business. Before this, he served as head of wealth planning – life insurance for Europe and Switzerland – at UBS.
Boodle Hatfield, the private wealth and real estate law firm, appointed two new partners: Neil Biswas, formerly at Trowers & Hamlins, who joined the real estate team; and David Davies, formerly at Kingsley Napley, who joined the corporate and commercial team.
Charles Stanley appointed investment managers Hitesh Mistry and Gregory Perdon. Mistry, previously at Rowan Dartington – the discretionary arm of St James’s Place – was an investment manager for almost a decade. He is based in Charles Stanley’s Birmingham office, reporting to Robert Dornan, director of investment management services. Perdon joined from McInroy & Wood, where he was investment director. Prior to that, he spent 12 years at Arbuthnot Latham as co-chief investment officer.
Boutique wealth manager Brades, formerly J H Flemmings, appointed Humza Malik as chairman. Malik has more than 30 years’ experience in leading multi-billion-pound M&A transactions.
Peter Hiom joined FNZ as group head of markets, based in London and reporting to Roman Regelman, group president. Previously, Hiom was deputy CEO at ASX and served in senior roles at the Sydney Futures Exchange and the London International Financial Futures Exchange.
Mirabaud & Cie SA appointed Ricardo Castillo as head of investments. Based in Geneva, Castillo reports directly to Camille Vial, CEO. He has more than 20 years’ experience in financial services and wealth management. Before joining Mirabaud, he led the investment team at a Geneva-based family office and the Latin America advisory and sales department at Credit Suisse. Castillo began his career in advisory services at JP Morgan and UBS.
Dubai-headquartered Klay appointed former UBS investment banker Ahmad Chaudry as its first global head of structured products and derivatives. Based in Dubai, Chaudry was previously at UBS Investment Bank in Hong Kong, where he served as co-head of APAC Global Markets structuring and head of Global Markets Platform Solutions.
European third-party management company Carne Group appointed Francis Parisis as head of business development (MD), Luxembourg. He has held several key positions, including at PwC and Citco.
RBC BlueBay Asset Management appointed Swetha Ramachandran to a newly-created role as portfolio manager. Reporting to Habib Subjally, managing director and senior portfolio manager, head of global equity, Ramachandran will be based in London. Most recently, she was a fund manager at Artemis Investment Management.
Flanks, the Barcelona-based wealth management automation platform, expanded into the DACH region of Germany, Austria and Switzerland. As part of the move, it appointed former FNZ senior figure Sebastian Henrichs as chief operating officer.
Suntera Global appointed David Page as director of business development within its funds and corporate services division in the UK. Page is based in London and has more than 20 years’ experience in international prime brokerage, asset management and securities services.
Collas Crill appointed Dinesh Menon as counsel in its private client and trusts team in the Cayman Islands. Menon has worked in private wealth, trusts and estates for more than 20 years.
Aviva Investors made two hires for its global fixed income
team:
• Anna Chong as a sector lead; and
• Michalis Ditsas as a senior investment director.
Both are based in London.
Spencer West appointed Helen Weaving as a director in its private office.
North America
Arch, a New York-headquartered platform that automates the alternative investments lifecycle, formed its client advisory board.

ArentFox Schiff, a US-based law firm, added partner Lauren Wolven to its private clients, trusts and estates practices in the firm’s Chicago office. Wolven has more than two and a half decades of experience in estate, tax, and succession planning.
RBC Wealth Management – US welcomed a six-person team in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. The BLS Financial Group joined from UBS where it managed more than $1.1 billion in client assets.

Chilton Trust named Jennifer Lee as president and CEO. Lee, who reports to Richard Lockwood Chilton, Jr, founder and chairman of Chilton Trust, succeeded Peter Kim who served as interim president. With more than 30 years of private wealth experience, Lee joined from PNC Private Bank, where she most recently served as the head of US markets.
Fiduciary Trust International appointed Marc Balcer as senior portfolio manager in its Radnor office. Balcer has more than two decades of investment management experience, including senior roles at Girard, Bluefin Investment Management, Redstone, and Morgan Stanley.
Financial advisor Mike Felton joined the branch channel of Ameriprise Financial, from Merrill Lynch with $110 million in client assets. A wealth sector figure for 20 years, Felton is located in Charleston, South Carolina.
Carson Group said senior wealth advisors Greg Diamond and Neil Cohen of GCD Advisors had moved to Carson Wealth. They joined the firm’s Great Lakes-area office led by Mark McCallum, managing partner.
Northern Trust Asset Management appointed Anwiti Bahuguna as global co-chief investment officer. She joined global co-chief investment officer Christian Roth and succeeded Michael Hunstad, who was recently named president of Northern Trust Asset Management. Bahuguna is based in Chicago and reports to Northern Trust Asset Management President Michael Hunstad.
Osaic, a portfolio company of Reverence Capital Partners, and a provider of wealth management strategies, added Virtus Wealth Solutions – an all-women firm founded by financial planner Rachel Woo – to its supported independence (W-2) channel. Based in West Virginia, it transitioned from Commonwealth Financial Network to Osaic.
Dynasty Financial Partners hired Kevin Monaco as business development officer, based in Los Angeles. Monaco reports to Tim Oden, Dynasty's chief growth officer. Previous firms include at D A Davidson, Wells Fargo Private Bank, Raymond James & Associates, and Morgan Stanley, and Oppenheimer.
Pitcairn, a US family office, named Carlin Calcaterra in the newly-created role of managing director of investment strategy. Calcaterra was most recently the managing director and co-head of the financial advisor solutions team at Ares Management.
Allworth Financial appointed Jeffrey Green as chief people officer. Most recently, Green was chief human resources officer at Osaic.
Uniting Wealth Partners, an RIA succession incubator backed by Wealth Advisor Growth Network, welcomed a Rochester, New York-based firm run by Rick and Alecia Dougherty.
Former Commonwealth advisors Marcus Papajohn and Kevin O’Sullivan joined wealth management platform Diversify. Based in Boston, Papajohn and O'Sullivan launched their new independent practice under the name of Boston Wealth Advisory Group.
LinePoint Partners & Co, a Los Angeles-based firm that operates an affiliation model and platform for ultra-HNW breakaway advisors and single-family office leaders, appointed Dan Cole as chief financial officer, and head of advanced wealth planning. Before this role, Cole was CFO for the embedded family office at Audax Group and was part of the senior leadership team at the Lowy Family Group, a global single-family office, where he led US finance operations and tax strategy.
Modera Wealth Management hired Vince Curtin as director, head of mergers and acquisitions, where he leads its acquisition strategy and partnership development. Curtin has more than 15 years of experience in wealth and asset management, with senior M&A roles at Transcend Capital Advisors, The Mather Group, and UBS Investment Bank.
Los Angeles-headquartered City National Bank – a subsidiary of Royal Bank of Canada – unveiled a private banking and wealth management head: Brandon Williams. Williams, who has worked in the financial services sector for more than 25 years, joined the bank in 2016. He reports to Howard Hammond, president and chief executive officer.
Coller Capital appointed Jennifer Loew as global head of investor services and due diligence. Loew, who is based in New York, reports to Jake Elmhirst, deputy head of capital formation and head of the global private wealth solutions business. Most recently, Loew was managing director of client relations and head of diligence services at Oaktree Capital Management, where she spent over a decade managing global investor onboarding, reporting, and due diligence. She has served in senior roles at Morgan Stanley Investment Management, Bear Stearns Asset Management, and OppenheimerFunds. Loew began her career at JP Morgan & Co.
Texas-based financial advisor Alex Gunn joined Third Coast Advisors, a practice within the Ameriprise Financial Institutions Group, part of Ameriprise Financial. Third Coast Advisors is located in Georgetown, Texas. Gunn is a 16-year industry veteran, who previously worked at PNC Investments.
Athena Capital appointed Serena Dayal and Avi Golan as investment partners. Dayal and Golan source tech investments for Athena Capital, in particular cybersecurity, AI, software, and healthcare. Dayal was previously a partner at SoftBank Vision Fund. Earlier in her career, she was an investor at Fortress Investment Group in its private equity business and spent more than 10 years in Goldman Sachs’s Investment Banking Division. With more than 30 years of experience in the technology sector, Golan previously served as CEO of Sygnia, a Tomasek portfolio cyber technology and services company.
Franklin Templeton appointed Daniel Gamba as chief commercial officer, overseeing global sales, marketing and product strategy, based in New York City. Gamba reports to Jenny Johnson, chief executive officer. Gamba, Terrence Murphy, head of public market investments, and Matthew Nicholls, chief financial and operating officer, became co-presidents.
Gamba, who succeeded Adam Spector, who is the new CEO of Fiduciary Trust International, joined from Northern Trust, where he served as president of its asset management business. Northern Trust appointed Michael Hunstad as president of Northern Trust Asset Management (NTAM), and replaced Gamba. Hunstad reports to chief executive officer Michael O’Grady.
Carson Group hired four senior figures, adding to areas such as private client services, advisor development, estate planning and mergers and acquisitions. The joiners: Heather Zack, senior vice president, private client services, and solutions strategist (previously director of HNW clients at Commonwealth Financial Network); Lisa VanArsdale, vice president, advisor development (formerly of LPL Financial); David Haughton, VP, estate planning (formerly of Wealth.com); and Liam Heffernan, VP, mergers and acquisitions sales (formerly of SageView Advisory Group).
Sterlington, a law firm, brought in figures from rival Morgan Lewis, building its private wealth group. Alexandra Buckingham joined as a partner, alongside Daniel Cooper, partner and head of Sterlington’s private wealth practice; partner Emalee Welsh, deputy head of the practice; and partner Daniel Carmody.
Baird added Robert Choy as a director and financial advisor to a new office opening in Santa Clara, California. Choy used to work at Edelman Financial Engines.
InspereX, the tech-driven fixed income and structured products distribution and trading firm, appointed Brandon Laczkowski as managing director, head of RIA sales. Laczkowski reports to Deryk Rhodes, managing director and head of wealth management solutions.
FNZ, a wealth management tech platform, unveiled an executive committee appointment for New York. Ryan Beach joined as group head for North America, based in Nebraska, reporting to group president, Roman Regelman. Previously, Beach was CEO of F2 Strategy and, before that, president and chief operating officer at Orion.
RIA Kestra Private Wealth Services said Tim Semke had joined its cluster of independent financial professionals in partnership with Kindred Wealth Partners, a Pennsylvania-based wealth management firm affiliated with Kestra PWS.
BNY Wealth named Alvina Lo as head of advice planning and fiduciary services.
Hightower Advisors appointed former State Street senior figure Randy Bullard as head of investment management – a newly-created role. Most recently, he served as the global head of wealth at State Street.
Blake Butler, a financial advisor, launched an Alabama-based RIA, Canterbury Capital Wealth Management. Before launching an independent advisory firm, Butler’s seven-member team was affiliated with Northwestern Mutual.
Fenchurch Advisory Partners expanded its US office with the appointment of Gautam Chawla as senior managing director and co-head of Fenchurch US. Chawla has more than 33 years of experience in investment banking, most recently as vice chairman and global co-head of the Financial Institutions Group at Barclays.
Fortress Investment Group appointed Shara Wallace as distribution head for the central US states at its private wealth solutions business. Wallace, who is based in Detroit, Michigan, reports to Adam Bobker and Nils Wilson, global co-heads of the private wealth solutions business.

Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Asset Management (SuMi TRUST) named
Takahiro Kobayashi as its new president and CEO. Kobayashi
replaced Yoshio Hishida, the firm’s president and CEO since 2018,
as part of a phased transition of responsibilities. Hishida
remained as a non-executive director and took on the role of
global asset management officer for the SuMi TRUST Group.
Kobayashi, who has 20 years’ industry experience, joined Sumitomo
Mitsui Trust Bank in 2004 and became an executive officer of SuMi
TRUST Asset Management in 2023.
Asset manager First Sentier Group named Harry Moore as CEO, effective 1 January 2026. He is based in Australia. Moore’s appointment followed current CEO Mark Steinberg’s intention to step down at the end of the year after seven years with the group. Moore began his career at First Sentier Group in 2010.
OCBC, parent of Bank of Singapore, appointed Carina Lee as group chief risk officer and a member of its management committee, effective 1 January 2026. Lee, who has been chief credit officer of the wholesale banking arm, will succeed Noel Gerald Cruz, who is retiring at the end of 2025 after a 36-year career with the bank. Lee joined OCBC in January 2021.
Toronto-headquartered Sun Life Financial appointed Sujoy Ghosh as chief executive officer, high net worth. He reports to Manjit Singh, president, Sun Life Asia, and is based in Singapore. Ghosh leads Sun Life’s global high net worth (HNW) business in Hong Kong, Singapore and Bermuda. He has 27 years’ experience in leadership roles spanning insurance and banking across Asia, the Middle East and Europe. He joined from Citi, where he was most recently head of global insurance and Asia head, business development – Citi Wealth, responsible for the bank’s global insurance operations and business development in Asia.
Goodwin, a global law firm originating in the US, appointed Youjung Byon as partner in the private investment funds practice in Hong Kong. Byon, who has more than 15 years’ experience, predominantly advises Asia-based private fund sponsors on the formation of private investment vehicles, including buyout, growth capital, debt, venture capital and real estate funds.
Sun Hung Kai & Co said Natalie Ngai joined Sun Hung Kai Capital Partners (SHKCP) as director, reporting to Kelvin Cheung, CEO of Sun Hung Kai Capital Partners. Prior to joining SHKCP, Ngai was vice president at Macquarie Asset Management in Singapore.
DWS appointed Matthias Naumann to head its direct real estate business in Asia-Pacific. He is based in Sydney and reports to Clemens Schäfer, head of real estate, APAC and Europe, in Frankfurt. Naumann, who joined DWS in 2013, has 20 years’ experience. He has covered APAC as CIO for real estate since 2021, relocating to Sydney from DWS’ Frankfurt headquarters in early 2024.
Principal Asset Management appointed Koichiro Maeda as its new head of Japan, based in Tokyo. He joined from DWS and has more than 30 years’ experience in real estate investment, alternative asset management and investment banking. His career includes leadership roles at Mitsui Fudosan, Morgan Stanley and PGIM. He succeeded Hitoshi Itagaki, who assumed the role of chairman of Principal Japan’s board of directors. Itagaki had led Principal Asset Management Japan since 2007.
Citigroup appointed Lee Lung-Nien as its Singapore country officer and banking head. He replaced Tibor Pandi, who moved to other opportunities within the firm. Lee reports to Amol Gupte, Citi’s head of Asia South. He has been with Citi for 35 years.
Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation appointed Sridhar Srinivasan as its newly-established transaction banking chief operating officer. Based in Singapore, he works with Shinichiro Yamazaki, head of the global transaction banking department for Asia-Pacific. Srinivasan has worked for more than two decades in financial services, including at Citigroup, Standard Chartered and Accenture.
Klay Group, a boutique financial services firm, appointed Nikita Jain as managing director and deputy CEO, joining the leadership team of its India business, Klay Wealth. Previously, Jain was at JP Morgan for 17 years, where she worked in FX and fixed income sales, M&A and capital markets.
Milan-listed Azimut Group appointed Stefano Chao as head of Asia and chief executive of Azimut Singapore, reporting to Giorgio Medda, group CEO. Chao, who joined Azimut Group in 2011, served as general manager and legal representative of Azimut China.
Société Générale appointed Alvaro Huete as country head for Singapore and Southeast Asia, based in Singapore. Huete has 28 years’ sector experience.
LGT Wealth India appointed seven senior professionals from
Barclays Private Bank.
Sunit Jain is co-head, client coverage for the private client
business, based in Delhi. Rakesh Kripalani, based in Mumbai, is
the other co-head.
Other joiners: Anirudh Chowdhry is an expert on global Indian
families; Harpreet Sawhney has expertise in delivering corporate
and private banking solutions to large UHNW families; Manisha
Saxena has longstanding client relationships and guides marketing
initiatives to boost links between India and Singapore; Farzana
Irani has experience in private markets and credit; and Vishal
Khetan focuses on cross-border client relationships, especially
along the India–UK and global corridors.
Lighthouse Canton appointed Pranob Gupta as managing director – business head, India alternatives (credit and hybrid strategies). Most recently, Gupta served as managing director and chief investment officer at JM Financial’s credit alternatives platform.
After more than 30 years’ service, Sally Wong, CEO of the Hong Kong Investment Funds Association (HKIFA), retired. To ensure a smooth transition, Bruno Lee was appointed as consultant. Lee founded BIG Family Limited and is a financial veteran with more than 30 years’ experience in the asset and wealth management industry.
BNP Paribas Wealth Management appointed former HSBC executive Kah Yi Chung as head of private and alternative investments, Asia. Chung, who is based in Singapore, reports directly to Shafali Sachdev, head of investment services, Asia-Pacific. At HSBC, where Chung worked for seven years, she was head of alternatives for South Asia; prior to that, she worked at Partners Group and Eaton Partners.
Howden, a global insurance intermediary group, named Rebecca Poon as chief client officer, joining its Asia leadership team. Poon is based in Hong Kong. Most recently, she was managing director for Marsh in Hong Kong, following a 42-year career at the firm.
Hang Seng Bank said Diana Cesar returned from her assignment as executive director and CEO of Hang Seng Bank to The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation as vice chairman, Hong Kong. In this role, she advises the co-CEOs of Asia and the Middle East at HSBC. Luanne Lim, CEO of HSBC Hong Kong, was made executive director and CEO of Hang Seng Bank.
The strategic investments team within the markets segment at Citigroup appointed Nicholas Chin from JP Morgan to lead Japan, Asia North and Australia, and the Asia South team. Chin reports to Siris Singh, head of markets strategic investments. At JP Morgan, Chin spent more than eight years in London, where he was responsible for venture and growth equity investments in the fintech sector.
Vivienne Chia, global head of investment solutions for Bank of Singapore, resigned from the bank. Chia, who had been at the Singapore-headquartered bank, part of OCBC, for four years, was previously at UBS for more than 20 years. She started her career at Citigroup.
Standard Chartered appointed Roger Charles as head of sustainability initiatives, coverage, in the corporate and investment banking (CIB) team. He was previously at DBS Bank and is based in Singapore.
VP Bank named Michel Hofstetter as head of intermediaries and head of its Singapore private banking operation. Hofstetter joined the bank in 2022. Prior to his new role, he was head of intermediaries for Singapore from July 2024; before this, he was head of intermediaries international and an executive director for almost two years.
Lombard Odier appointed Lucien Jeannin as head of strategy and business transformation, private clients. Jeannin is based in Singapore and reports to Omar Shokur, regional head for Asia, private clients. The firm also added Caroline Lee, senior relationship manager, who reports to Alfred Low, head of North Asia markets, private clients; and Justin Kwok, who will support the expansion of client relationships across Southeast Asia, with a particular focus on Thailand. Kwok reports to Andrea Meierhofer, head of Southeast Asia market, private clients.
St James’s Place appointed John Elkovich as chief executive for Singapore. Elkovich reports to Oliver Wickham, partnership director for Asia and the Middle East. He has more than three decades’ experience in financial services spanning wealth management, insurance and private banking. He was appointed interim CEO of the Singapore office in April this year.
Deutsche Bank appointed Vitita Theeraporn as director in the Thailand team in its Southeast Asia region at Deutsche Bank Private Bank. Based in Singapore and reporting to Paul Handley, Theeraporn brings more than 16 years’ experience from Siam Commercial Bank.
A UBS team head covering the non-resident Indian (NRI) segment left the Swiss firm. Bikram Sen departed after more than a year at UBS; he also spent almost four years at Credit Suisse (subsequently bought by UBS in March 2023). Prior to this, Sen was a team head with the Global South Asia and Middle East business of Bank of Singapore.
Charles Russell Speechlys appointed three partners in its Hong Kong and London offices. Francis Li and Wendy Fong joined the corporate team in Hong Kong, and Jue Jun Lu joined the commercial dispute resolution team in London.
