A summary of moves in the world's wealth management industry.
FNZ, a global wealth management platform, added two senior
figures: Cornelia Coman and Tom Chard. Coman joined as group head
of Europe, based in London, reporting to Roman Regelman, FNZ’s
group president. She has more than 20 years of experience in
financial services, having served in senior executive roles at
ING Bank and NN Group.
Chard, appointed in the newly-created role of group head of
growth, continues to report to Regelman. Chard joined the firm in
2018; most recently, he was group head of North America.
UK private bank C Hoare & Co appointed Alex Bennett as a senior
relationship manager based in the Southwest of England. He
previously worked at Coutts where he was a director in the
landowner team; previous experience includes roles at NatWest,
Clydesdale Bank and Yorkshire Bank.
Equiom, a provider of fiduciary services to private wealth,
institutional and corporate sectors, promoted Vicky Stables to
managing director of its Jersey office. Stables, with more than
25 years of fiduciary experience, joined Equiom in April 2024 as
head of private wealth and family office – Jersey.
B2BROKER, a global fintech solutions provider for financial
institutions, appointed Moustapha Abdel Sater as its chief
commercial officer. The role is a new one for the firm. Based in
Amsterdam, Moustapha Abdel Sater has more than 14 years of
international experience across the Gulf Cooperation Council
group of countries in the Middle East, the Levant region, and
Europe.
Withers appointed Paul Hewitt as its new chair to work alongside
Withers' CEO Margaret Robertson. Hewitt succeeded chairperson
Justine Markovitz, who had occupied the role since 2019 for the
maximum period of two terms.
First Eagle Investments appointed Rémi Casals as executive
managing director, head of International Wealth Solutions (IWS).
Casals reports to Mehdi Mahmud, president and chief executive
officer. Most recently, he served as global head of fixed income
business at Vontobel Asset Management.
P1 Investment Services, operator of the P1 Platform, appointed
James Bishop as senior platform account manager. Bishop has more
than 15 years of experience across financial institutions
including M&G plc, Old Mutual, Standard Life Aberdeen, and
AXA Wealth.
UK-based Quilter Cheviot, the UK discretionary wealth manager,
hired Phil Ross as an equity research analyst to lead its
analysis of insurance and utilities companies. Ross joined from
Exane BNP Paribas, where he was the lead analyst for European
reinsurance companies. Ross reports to head of equity research,
Chris Beckett.
Mirabaud & Cie (Europe) appointed David Smith as director,
relationship manager. He is based in London and reports to Stuart
Bates, UK market head. Prior to Mirabaud, Smith served as a
relationship manager at RBC Wealt Management providing bespoke
wealth solutions to sophisticated HNW and UHNW
individuals.
Rathbones Asset Management (RAM) appointed Thomas Whitfield as
the investment specialist for the Rathbone Multi-Asset Portfolio
fund range. He is based in London and took over from Craig Brown
who recently assumed the new role of head of investment solutions
and specialists at RAM, to whom Thomas reports.
Rockwood Asset Management (a trading name of Harwood Private
Capital) said that investor Richard Pease joined Rockwood
Strategic's Investment Advisory Group.
Paris-based Altaroc Partners, a private equity management
company, appointed Jérémie Mrejen as head of institutional and
single family office investor relations. Mrejen has 13 years of
experience between Paris and London, first in investment banking
at HSBC, then as head of institutional development for France,
Belgium, and Luxembourg at Lombard Odier IM, and most recently as
European sales director at TOBAM. Mrejen is responsible for
distributing Altaroc’s primary and secondary private equity
solutions to institutional investors and single-family offices
across Europe.
Standard Chartered Private Bank appointed Yahya Ismail in the
newly-formed role of Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) market
head. Ismail, who has more than 25 years of banking experience
across corporate and private banking, spent the last 20 years in
private wealth management at Julius Baer and ABN AMRO. It also
made other appointments.
Laura Haddad joined as senior client partner, lead, GCC UHNW. She
has more than two decades’ experience in wealth management
working with ultra-HNW clients, families, and banks including
Julius Baer, Credit Agricole, Citibank, Emirates NBD, and the
Royal Bank of Canada.
Samia Shahnawaz joined as executive director, relationship
manager, private banking. She has more than 20 years of banking
experience across private and institutional banking, working with
banks including Julius Baer, Bank of Singapore, Barclays and
Citibank.
Ramla Mansukhani and Lakshmi Menon rejoined as relationship
manager, private banking and client service manager, private
banking, respectively.
Law firm Withers appointed former Sotheby’s senior figure
Mari-Claudia Jiménez as part of its drive to expand art advisory
and legal expertise for this area.
Jiménez became a partner, leading Withers’ art and advisory practice in New York. Over her career, Jiménez has been an advisor, counsellor and advocate for collectors and estates, prominent museums, galleries, and auction houses and has been involved in acquisitions, consignments and litigation. Until recently, she was chairman, president, Americas, and head of global business development for Sotheby's. She worked at the auction house for almost 10 years.
Imperium Group, an independent provider of private client and
fund services across the Channel Islands and UK, appointed Simon
Young as group chairman. Following a tenure as chairman, Roy
McGregor, was due at the time of writing to hand over to
Young.
Rockwood Asset Management, the trading name of Harwood Private
Capital LLP, appointed Richard Pease to join Rockwood Strategic's
Investment Advisory Group (IAG). Pease has more than 40
years of fund management experience. Stavely founded Crux Asset
Management in 2015; the company was sold to Lansdowne Partners in
2023.
Sparrows Capital hired James Denton as a business development
manager (BDM). Denton joined from Foresight Group.
Schroders appointed Jamie Fowler as the new head of UK wealth
within its asset management division. Fowler is responsible for
serving intermediary investors across UK wealth management
spanning advisors, wealth managers, family offices and
discretionary investors. He has been at Schroders for more than
20 years.
7IM made two senior internal appointments: Harriet Massie
(promoted to chief transformation officer), and Chris Phillips
(made chief value officer, previously chief transformation
officer). They report to CEO Dean Proctor. Massie has been with
7IM since 2017. Philips joined the firm in 2019.
Citigroup appointed Jonathan Leach as market executive and head
of Citi Private Bank for the UK and Jersey. He took the helm from
Jeremy Knowland. Leach worked at the US-headquartered lender for
two decades. When he joined Citigroup, he was an investment
counsellor in the UK, leading the UK investments team. Leach
reports directly to James Holder, who is head of UK, Europe & the
Middle East. He also has a reporting line to Tiina Lee, UK Citi
cluster and banking head.
UBS Global Wealth Management appointed Bradley Russell as head of
Manchester and the NorthWest. Russell, who has more than two
decades of experience in the wealth management industry, supports
UBS advisors in Manchester and the broader North
West. Before joining UBS, Russell, a North-West native,
spent 15 years at RBC Brewin Dolphin, where he was a senior
investment manager and divisional director in their Manchester
office.
Mourant, a law practice and professional services firm, appointed
Brad Hillson from Kirland & Ellis, as global head of private
capital. Ellis has advised private equity sponsors including
Ares, Bridgepoint, BC Partners, EQT, GLP Capital Partners, IK
Investment Partners, KKR, Montagu and Summit Partners.
Northern Trust Asset Management appointed Michael Hunstad and Christian Roth as global co-chief investment officers. They succeeded Angelo Manioudakis, who retired from NTAM. Manioudakis joined NTAM in September 2021 after more than 30 years in the asset management industry.
Leonteq shrank its executive committee from seven to five members
and changed its management setup. The executive committee
includes Christian Spieler, chief executive, Hans Widler, chief
financial officer, Reto Quadroni, chief risk officer, Manish
Patnaik, chief operating officer, and Jasmin Koelbl-Vogt, general
counsel. The extended senior management team consists of
Lorenzo Leccesi (new head of investment solutions) as well as
Alexander van Gasselt and Karthik Eswar (co-heads of
markets).
Chief people officer Markus Schmid decided to step down from his
position and will leave the firm. Isabelle Hauser was appointed
as new head of human resources. She has had more than 17 years of
experience in HR at Schroders and State Street, most recently as
head of HR for Switzerland and Austria, Hauser joined Leonteq in
2024.
UK wealth manager Canaccord Wealth appointed Gary Steel as a
senior wealth planner, based in London. He reports to David
Goodfellow, head of wealth planning. Previously, Steel was at
Brewin Dolphin, where he was divisional director providing
financial planning advice and associated investment solutions to
wealthy individuals and their families. He has worked in
financial services for 25 years.
Milan-headquartered LMS Studio Legale bolstered its banking and
finance and corporate practices with the appointments of Mario
Lisanti and Fabio Niccoli as partners.
All in Place, an online platform in the UK that works with
accountants, appointed two senior figures: Will Farrell, and
Richard Brewin. Farrell, an entrepreneur, speaker and author, was
made fractional chief commercial officer advising the business on
its strategic direction, technology and route to market.
Brewin, a business founder, mentor and coach, was appointed as
client director to support the firm’s plans in scaling up,
handling client acquisition and onboarding.
UK-based JM Finn, a wealth manager for private investors,
appointed Rorie Evans as a relationship director within its
charities team. Previously, Evans spent nearly nine years at
Newton Investment Management, latterly as head of charity
clients.
Evelyn Partners appointed David Little as a partner in financial
planning at its Glasgow office. Little joined from 7IM Private
Client, where he worked for more than three years, most recently
as senior financial planning director. The firm also named Sean
Hagerty as an independent non-executive director. He spent 27
years at the Vanguard Group, latterly serving as managing
director and head of Vanguard Europe for eight years before
stepping down in December 2024. Hagerty served on the Financial
Conduct Authority’s Practitioner Panel in the UK, the HM Treasury
Asset Management Taskforce and was vice chair of the board of the
Investment Association. Prior to joining Vanguard, Hagerty worked
for PNC Bank and Peat, Marwick Mitchell & Co (now KPMG).
Saxo UK appointed Michelle West as UK head of compliance. West is
responsible for enhancing Saxo’s risk and compliance functions
and ensuring that Saxo maintains the highest standards of
operational integrity. West has served in several regulatory
compliance roles over the past 30 years at the Bank of America,
ABN AMRO, National Bank of Greece, Alpari UK Limited, Electronic
Voice & Foreign Exchange Limited and Plus500UK Limited.
Carmignac appointed two members of the Carmignac family to join
its board as non-executive directors. Charles Carmignac and
Amaury Carmignac, sons of Edouard Carmignac, were nominated to
join the board in June 2025 following the firm’s annual general
meeting.
Law firm Collyer Bristow appointed Nick Mann, a residential
property lawyer, as partner. Formerly at Seddons GSC, Mann has
more than 15 years’ experience in residential property. He works
in Collyer Bristow’s private client real estate team, led by
Janet Armstrong-Fox.
Mirabaud & Cie (Europe) SA, the Luxembourg-based private bank of
Mirabaud, appointed Carlo Thill as a new member of its board of
directors. Thill, who has over 40 years of experience in the
Luxembourg financial sector, has held administrative and
management positions at renowned financial institutions,
including BGL BNP Paribas.
Jersey-headquartered VG, a provider of private wealth, funds and
corporate services, made additions to its executive team and
board: Stuart Layzell was appointed chairman. Andy Gray, who is
joining as chief financial officer, concentrates on VG’s
strategic and commercial performance. Alan Brown, who joined the
board as a non-executive director, has leadership and
transformation expertise from his tenure at global blue-chip
firms, including Unilever, Rentokil, and Vistra where he was
group CEO between 2019 and 2022.
BNP Paribas’ wealth business in Germany appointed Beat Bachmann
as its new CEO. Bachmann replaced Michael Arends, who continued
his career outside the group. Bachman had been CEO of BNP Paribas
Wealth Management in Switzerland.
Fasanara Capital, a London-based investment manager, appointed Fawad Tariq-Khan as managing director, Middle East, based in Abu Dhabi. Formerly the group CEO of Shuaa Capital, Tariq-Khan spent 10 years at Shuaa Capital, investing in credit, venture and private equity.
UK-based Morgan Lloyd, a specialist in self-invested pensions and part of the Clifton Group, appointed Julie Hansen as its new managing director. Hansen has more than 20 years of experience working in financial services including pensions administration, financial planning and insurance.
Ostrum Asset Management made three appointments following the
consolidation of all asset management and research expertise.
-- Xavier-André Audoli was appointed CIO for insurance and
institutional asset management, reporting to Gaëlle Malléjac),
Ostrum AM’s Global CIO. Audoli joined Natixis AM (formerly Ostrum
AM) in 2007.
-- Iain Bremner was appointed director of investment solutions, a
newly-established team which designs, coordinates, and promotes
tailored solutions for institutional clients.
-- Stéphanie Noël was promoted to head of the systematic asset
management team within the quantitative investments and research
division.
Law firm Charles Russell Speechlys promoted Guillaume Ferrand to
partner in its Paris office and Elena Dunn to counsel in its
Zurich office.
Senior associate promotions: Georgia Fullarton, commercial
dispute resolution – Dubai; Clément Missey, corporate –
Luxembourg; and Imran Moutaabbid, corporate – Luxembourg.
Carne Group, a third-party management company and provider of
fund regulation and governance solutions for the asset management
industry, appointed Lizzy Buss as managing director, business
development. Buss, who joined from MUFG Investor Services, is
based in London, reporting to Mark Stockley, chief business
development officer at Carne Group.
Imperium, an independent provider of private client services
across the Channel Islands and UK, appointed Jennie Ekedahl as
managing director of its Jersey office.
North America
Broadridge Financial Solutions appointed Ashley Wood as managing
principal, US client solutions, in its data and analytics
business. It also named Gemma Cowie as head of global growth
solutions within its data and analytics business, and Kevin
Feeley as head of client services and operations for US mutual
funds and non-listed issuer proxy business.
Wood, who is based in Boston, has worked in the asset management community for more than 15 years. Cowie joined from Royal London Asset Management, where she served as head of strategy. Feeley served as director of global shareholder services at Franklin Templeton/Putnam Investments.
Equitable appointed two figures to join its wealth arm, Equitable Advisors – Ross Pake and Pat Tierney. Pake, who has 40 years' industry experience, moved his practice, Legacy Wealth Management, to Equitable Advisors from Cetera. Pake's practice is based in Tustin, California. Based in Orlando, Florida, Tierney joined Equitable Advisors from Lincoln Investments. He has 27 years’ industry experience.
Beacon Pointe Advisors, an RIA, added advisor and retirement plan specialist Greg Mykytyn who is based in Dallas-Fort Worth. Prior to Beacon Pointe, Mykytyn served as managing director for Commerce Street Investment Management in Dallas.
Northern Trust Asset Management appointed Gary Paulin as chief investment strategist for its international business and Joseph Tanious as chief investment strategist, North America. They replaced Wouter Sturkenboom and Chris Shipley, who left the company.
PNC Asset Management Group named Yung-Yu Ma, PhD, as its chief investment strategist. Ma, who is based in Philadelphia, has more than 20 years of financial services and consulting experience. Most recently, Ma was chief investment officer for BMO Wealth Management where he led asset allocation, market analysis, modeling, and portfolio construction for the firm.
Confluence Technologies, a technology solutions provider for regulatory, analytics, and investor communications in the investment management industry, appointed Kathleen Keenan as chief product officer. She is based in Boston. Most recently, she was vice president of product management for investor communication services at Broadridge.
Prosperity Capital Advisors, an RIA, appointed Stan Milovancev as co-chief executive and Scott Rister as co-president and chief financial officer. Milovancev serves alongside co-CEO, Jason Smith, who moved to the chairmanship role. Before this, Milovancev was president of CBIZ Investment Advisory Services.
Caprock, a multi-family office RIA, appointed Frank Giuliano as corporate development head. Giuliano has more than a decade of strategic experience, most recently as a vice president of corporate development for LPL Financial.

UBS Private Wealth Management appointed banker Lin Reynolds in its New York office, as senior vice president of wealth management and member of the Wright Hoffman Reynolds Group. Conigatti joined as a member of the Wright Hoffman Reynolds Group, a team specialized in wealth management within UBS Private Wealth Management. Prior to this role, Reynolds was a banker for JP Morgan Private Bank in New York.
Summit Trail Advisors appointed Jeff Ringdahl as partner, president and chief operating officer in New York. Ringdahl joined after more than 14 years at Resolute Investment Managers, where he most recently served as president and CEO.
Citi Wealth appointed Patty Sachs as its new wealth marketing head. She reports to Alex Craddock, chief marketing and content officer. Sachs is also a strategic partner to Andy Sieg, head of Citi Wealth. Prior to this role, Sachs worked at Publicis, the advertising and PR group.
Great Diamond Partners, a Portland, Maine-based independent wealth management firm, added Stephen Poulos as senior financial advisor. Poulos was formerly with HeadInvest, where he served as partner and portfolio manager. The northeastern firm also appointed portfolio manager Mark Doehla, formerly with H M Payson.
Apex Group appointed a new global head of Apex Invest, Philipp Levy, based in New York. Levy succeeded the role from John Papesh, who remained at the firm, focusing on the Middle East and based in that region. Levy joined Apex Group in May; before this, he was head of marketing and investor relations for several event-driven funds based in New York City.
Emigrant Bank appointed former Cresset Capital Management and Pitcairn senior figure, Mark Rogozinski, as managing director and head of family office services. Rogozinski has more than a quarter century of executive leadership experience covering wealth management, multi-family offices, and financial technology. At Cresset, Rogozinski served as executive managing director, strategic initiatives. He previously served as president of Cresset Family Office. Prior to Cresset, he was chief strategy officer at Pitcairn, the multi-family office.
Bernstein Private Wealth Management appointed Ashley Velategui as the head of its wealth strategies group. She is based in Seattle. Velategui has been at Bernstein for 18 years.
Deutsche Bank appointed Nicola Baker as managing director. Baker, who has more than 20 years’ experience in the sector, spent the last 13 years in Citi Private Bank. Based in San Francisco, Baker reports to Elom Kpordze, who is the head of the private bank’s west coast north region.
Nicolas Schlosser joined as a senior relationship manager, based in Los Angeles. Schlosser reports to Thomas Klemm, the private bank head for the west coast south region.
Toronto-listed Fiera Capital, an asset manager, hired Maxime Ménard as global president and CEO. Jean-Guy Desjardins, Fiera’s founder, continues to provide strategic oversight, shaping the firm’s investment philosophy and steering global asset allocation across public markets and multi-asset solutions.
Gabriel Castiglio, executive director, global chief legal officer and corporate secretary, was appointed executive director and global chief operating officer. Lucas Pontillo, executive director and global chief financial officer, also leads corporate strategy, expanding his mandate.

Callan Family Office, an RIA serving ultra-high worth individuals, family offices, foundations and endowments, appointed Jeff Getty as chief tax strategist. Previously, Getty held positions with Key Private Bank, including leading the family wealth consulting team and forming the bank’s business advisory practice.
Citigroup said former JP Morgan Private Bank figure Russell Budnick would be joining Citi Wealth in August as capital markets head. Budnick will report to Keith Glenfield, the head of investment solutions. Prior to this, Budnick was global head of market strategy and trading in the capital markets group of JP Morgan Private Bank.
US-based Nordwand Capital, a multi-family office and RIA, appointed Patrick J McGinnis Jr as a managing director and financial advisor. Previously, McGinnis served as a senior portfolio manager at Fiduciary Trust.
Houston-based Americana Partners added four industry figures from Morgan Stanley in the same city. Formerly known as The AHM Group at Morgan Stanley, the team includes Palmer Moldawer, Will Carsey, Will Gutkowski, and Kayla Sickman.
Hightower appointed former Invesco figure Jennifer Krevitt as chief human resources officer. Krevitt spent the last year building a private consulting business focused on counseling organizations and senior leaders across a range of companies.
Blackstone Private Wealth, part of Blackstone, appointed Jennifer Abate as a senior managing director and the head of registered investment advisor channel. She is based in New York. Abate previously spent over 30 years at Lazard Asset Management, latterly serving as managing director responsible for building and leading the financial institutions group.
US investment luminary Warren Buffett announced that he intends to stand down at the end of 2025. He is to hand over the CEO slot to vice-chairman Greg Abel.
Wilshire Advisors appointed Jason Schwarz to chief executive. He succeeded Andy Stewart, who assumed the role of executive chairman and continued to provide strategic guidance. With more than 25 years of experience in financial services, Schwarz most recently served as president and deputy CEO at Wilshire.
State Street appointed John F Woods to chief financial officer, taking over from Mark Keating who had served as interim CFO since February. Prior to Citizens, Woods spent several years at Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group where he was most recently CFO of MUFG Americas Holdings Corporation.
Raymond James
The firm welcomed financial advisor Bryan Griffin to its
independent advisor channel. Griffin was previously affiliated
with Edward Jones.
Raymond James also brought in financial advisor Debi Gregory to its independent advisor channel. At DG Financial in Puyallup, Washington, Gregory was joined by client service associates Wendi Bertram and Katie Irwin. Gregory joined from Edward Jones.
Gregory serves as president and CEO of the practice, bringing nearly 15 years of advisory experience gained at her previous firm.
The firm brought in financial advisors Michael Forbes and Colin Forbes to its independent advisor channel. The advisors operate as Forbes Private Wealth in Draper, Utah and were joined joined by senior client service associate Wendy Kilbourne.
Raymond James also welcomed financial advisors Christopher J Guandolo, Marc Allen Brown and Maria A Corradi to its independent advisor channel.
The firm welcomed financial advisor Jason Hancock to its
independent advisor channel. Hancock joined the team at Voyager
Wealth Advisors in Salt Lake City, Utah. Previously, he was
affiliated with Morgan Stanley where he managed nearly $185
million in client assets.
Asia-Pacific
Franklin Templeton appointed Tariq Ahmad, head of the
Asia-Pacific region (APAC) and Sandeep Singh, head of Central and
Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa (CEEMEA) & India, as
co-heads of the newly-created Global Official Institutions Group.
Citigroup appointed Prashant Thakker as head of its Asia South corporate bank. Thakker, who has been heading the capital management business for Japan, Asia North, and Australia and Asia South, relocated to Singapore.
Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation appointed Joyce Tee as head of corporate banking department for Asia-Pacific. Tee, who is based in Singapore, succeeded Hideo Uchida, who moved to another leadership role in the SMBC Group after a handover period. Most recently, Tee was managing director and head of institutional banking group at DBS China. Previously, Tee served as group head of small- and medium-sized enterprise banking at DBS. She has also held senior positions at OCBC Bank and MetroBank NA USA.
Prudential appointed Rajeev Mittal as chief executive officer of Eastspring Investments. Mittal is based in Singapore and reports to Prudential CEO Anil Wadhwani. Mittal's appointment followed Bill Maldonado's decision to retire and return to the UK. Mittal, who has more than 30 years of asset management experience in Asia and Europe, most recently, served as managing director and head of Asia at Fidelity International.
Citi Australia and New Zealand appointed figures to its research and markets businesses, including Paul Buys as head of research for Australia and New Zealand. Buys joined from Canaccord Genuity, where he was research head. Before that, Buys was deputy head of Asia-Pacific Securities Research for Credit Suisse. Buys was slated to succeed the existing holder of the role, Paul McTaggart, who will be retiring at the end of the year after a 30-year career in sell-side research.
Lioner International Group, the insurance, trust and family office group, appointed Francis Tang as managing director, Hong Kong. Tang has more than 20 years’ experience in life insurance planning, with expertise in serving HNW clients. Previously, Tang was senior director at Charles Monat Associates, where he specialised in wealth management and insurance solutions.
HSBC Global Private Banking (GPB) appointed Kapil Khanna as desk head for Australia, Japan and International. Based in Singapore, Khanna leads growth and client coverage strategy for these markets, reporting to Abhishek Mehrotra, market head, Southeast Asia International. Prior to this appointment, Khanna was head of international investment counselling at HSBC, serving in various leadership roles, including UHNW investment counsellor and cluster head, overseeing teams servicing clients across the region.
Fiera Capital appointed Takafumi Sudo as chief operating officer and chief compliance officer of Japan, Fiera Capital (Asia). He reports to Ranulph Day, head of compliance EMEA and Asia, and CJ Morrell, head of Japan. The role is newly created.
Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, aka SMBC, appointed Luis Pereira as co-regional chief information officer for its Asia-Pacific division. Pereira succeeded Desmond Lee who left the bank. Pereira, who is based in Singapore, reports to Takashi Yamaguchi, head of governance planning department, Asia-Pacific division. Pereira also reports to Hideki Takamatsu, group CIO and Nobuyuki Takiguchi, group deputy CIO. Pereira was global CIO for wealth management and regional CIO for APAC.
WRISE Hong Kong appointed Joe C Lee as non-executive director of WRISE Prestige Hong Kong. Lee also serves as chairman of Renhe Holdings, chairman of Klover Insurtech, and is an advisor to many venture-backed startups.
Bank of Singapore appointed Emmanuel Bucaille as head of new product development. He is based in Singapore. For just under a year, he was senior managing director, regional head of wealth solutions for Asia, at Manulife Asset Management; he spent more than 24 years at UBS in various roles, for instance in Zurich.
The Asian multi-family office, Peakhouse, has named Berry Wong as its group CEO and announced that it is expanding its Hong Kong office in the Standard Chartered Building in the Central area of the city. Wong has more than three decades’ industry experience; he was CEO, Asia-Pacific, at Charles Monat Associates, where he led the firm’s growth in mainland China, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore.
Before his Charles Monat tenure, Wong was regional head of wealth planning at BNP Paribas. He also was senior director, wealth planning, at HSBC. In his new berth, Wong leads the team across its three hubs of Hong Kong, Chengdu in China, and Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam.
Raffles Family Office appointed two senior figures in Singapore: Terence Seow, and Shaun Lim. Seow joined as managing director, board advisor and Lim was named as MD for relationship management.
Seow, who has more than 40 years of experience in the banking and financial services industry, has held senior positions at Citibank, DBS, Bank of Singapore and other major financial institutions. Lim has more than 25 years of experience advising UHNW individuals and their families across global financial centres. He most recently served as market head of the North Asia Team at RBC Wealth Management, and served in senior roles at Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan, and Credit Suisse. He reports to Kendrick Lee, CEO of Singapore.
Amundi, the asset management group, appointed Jian Xiong as Asia insurance specialist. Jian Xong is based in Singapore and reports to Eddy Wong, CEO, Asia and Lawrence Wee, head of institutional sales, South Asia. Jian Xiong has more than 15 years of experience across the asset management, insurance, and banking sectors.
The Dubai-headquartered boutique financial firm, Klay, appointed former Deutsche Bank senior figure Cheryl Wong as chief operating officer in its Klay Singapore business. Wong has more than 30 years of experience across risk management, compliance, operational excellence, and transformation. Wong worked in roles such as that of chief operating officer at Deutsche Bank Wealth Management, and was head of compliance at BNP Paribas and Standard Chartered Bank.
Lion Global Investors, part of Singapore-based OCBC, appointed Seck Wai Kwong as its new chairman. Lion's previous chairman was Khor Hock Seng who was also the previous Great Eastern Group CEO; he retired on 31 October 2024. Seck Wai Kwong has more than 40 years of experience in the financial services sector. He retired as the CEO of Eastspring Investment Group in August 2023. Prior to Eastspring, he was CEO, Asia-Pacific, of State Street Bank and Trust Company from 2011 to 2019. He has also held senior positions in the Singapore Exchange, the Monetary Authority of Singapore, GIC, Lehman Brothers and DBS Bank.
Howden, the global insurance intermediary group covering areas including private wealth, appointed Marut Pommalee as the new chief client officer for Thailand. Pommalee was managing director at Sabuy Maxi, a strategic joint venture which Howden set up in 2021.
Sydney-headquartered alternative asset manager MA Financial Group appointed Kit To as head of Asian distribution. To is based in Singapore. With more than 20 years of experience in asset management, To worked with institutional investors and intermediary clients in Asia and North America, covering asset classes across public and private markets. She previously served as head of Asia Pacific at private equity investing platform, Moonfare.
JP Morgan Asset Management appointed Stefania Vivarini as an ETF specialist for Australia to bolster its capabilities and distribution in the rapidly growing ETF market. Based in Sydney, Vivarini reports to Philippe El-Asmar, head of APAC ETF, digital and direct and locally to Mark Carlile, head of wholesale, Australia and New Zealand. Prior to this role, Vivarini served as a national key account manager at Vanguard Investments Australia, where she launched ETF-based separately managed accounts.
International law firm Simmons & Simmons appointed Jennifer Tam as partner in its employment and benefits practice in Hong Kong. Tam, who has 15 years’ specialist employment litigation and advisory experience, has worked in contentious employment, discrimination, harassment and data privacy.
FSSA Investment Managers, which operates in Singapore and Hong Kong, appointed two new investment analysts. Manya Mishra, who joined as an investment analyst focused on India equities, relocated from Mumbai to join the Singapore office. Mishra has 10 years of investment experience, most recently as a senior investment analyst at Arisaig Partners. Ziqi Deng joined as an investment analyst covering Asia and emerging markets, with a focus on China. Deng was previously a global emerging markets portfolio manager at Genesis in London, and at Matthews Asia in San Francisco.
Eastspring Investments appointed Salman Haider as head of ASEAN and chief executive officer of Eastspring Singapore, adding to his role as chief distribution officer.
Seviora Holdings, a wholly owned subsidiary of Singapore-based Temasek Holdings, the sovereign wealth fund, appointed Gabriel Lim as CEO designate. He will to take up the role of CEO on 1 September 2025. The existing CEO Jimmy Phoon retires on 31 August.
JP Morgan appointed Alex To as its vice chair for Asia-Pacific. In his new role, To reports to JP Morgan APAC chief executive Sjoerd Leenart. Prior to this, To was CEO of CDH Investments.
Standard Chartered appointed Noelle Eder as group head for technology and operations. Eder, who reports to group CEO, Bill Winters, is based in Singapore. Before this, Eder worked at The Cigna Group, where she was the executive vice president and global chief information officer.
