October was a particularly busy year for moves and appointments in the world's wealth management sector.
(Europe (including UK), Middle East and other moves in select
jurisdictions. Asian and North American moves are shown
below.)
MASECO Private Wealth promoted Adrian Edwards to partner. Edwards
joined MASECO in 2023 as chief operating officer, bringing more
than 20 years of experience in senior leadership roles across the
financial services industry.
London-headquartered Tower Peak Partners appointed Monika Dangova
as head of sustainability. Dangover is based in London. Prior to
this, she served as sustainable finance lead in KPMG
International’s Global Decarbonisation Hub.
Shackleton Advisers appointed Marcus Bolitho and Will Gold as
chief marketing officer and head of communications respectively.
Prior to their most recent positions at global equities boutique
Goodhart Partners LLP, in May 2024 Bolitho and Gold co-founded
Bold Partners, a specialist marketing consultancy.
Nordea Asset Management hired Lucette Yvernault and Marton
Huebler. Yvernault joined as as head of the systematic fixed
income team; Huebler joined the team as senior portfolio
manager.
Quilter Cheviot appointed Colin Monton as head of client
development – corporate and entrepreneur, reporting to Michelle
Andrews, managing director – distribution, proposition and
marketing. Monton was previously head of business development for
Rathbones’ Greenbank sustainable investment arm.
Evelyn Partners appointed ex-professional rugby player Chris Dean
to join its Edinburgh financial planning team. Dean spent more
than a decade with Edinburgh Rugby Club, making more than 150
appearances, and became the club’s most-capped centre in its
history. He serves in a business development role.
Evelyn Partners also appointed Sukaina Karim-Hussein as director,
financial planning, and Hector Millar as associate director,
chartered financial planner, in the London office. Karim-Hussein
joined from Coutts. Millar spent eight years at City-based
financial planning firm London Wall Partners.
UBS Global Wealth Management appointed Amit Kachawaha as a client
advisor, based in London. He joined the global South Asia team,
reporting to desk head, Anuj Chhabra, within the UK International
team, led by Meltem Cagan. Kachawaha has more than 25 years of
experience in the wealth management and private banking industry.
Prior to joining UBS, he spent five years as a senior director at
DBS Bank in London, where he managed a book of clients based
in South Asia, the Middle East, and Europe.
Law firm Charles Russell Speechlys appointed Jonathan Huth as a
partner in the firm’s litigation team in Dubai. Huth was
previously at Howard Kennedy.
Quilter Cheviot International appointed Maria Gardner as investment director. Gardner served in senior roles at Asset Risk Consultants and more recently as head of family office for HSBC.
UBS said it planned to nominate group chief compliance and governance officer Markus Ronner as vice chairman. It will put Ronner’s nomination forward at its April 2026 annual general meeting. Michelle Bereaux, group integration officer, became group head of compliance and operational risk control. Beatriz Martin, head of non-core and legacy, became group chief operating officer. The role combines her current responsibilities – including leading sustainability and impact, and overseeing non-core and legacy – with new duties covering completing the Credit Suisse integration, group operations, and the internal consulting and governance teams. Martin continued to serve as EMEA president and UK chief executive. Responsibility for governmental and regulatory affairs was transferred to group chief financial officer Todd Tuckner. Group security was incorporated into the group human resources and corporate services division, led by Stefan Seiler.
Julius Baer appointed a long-standing senior figure, Regis
Burger, as CEO of Julius Baer (Middle East) Ltd, adding to his
role as head of Middle East & Africa. Alireza Valizadeh, the
previous incumbent, left with immediate effect to pursue other
opportunities outside the bank. Burger, who has been with Julius
Baer for more than 19 years, held various positions including CEO
of Julius Baer (Middle East) Ltd and head of business management
for “Region Emerging Markets.”
Brown Advisory appointed Nick Kirrage as a partner and portfolio
manager based in the firm’s London office.
Quanta Group, a next-generation financial services group,
appointed Graeme de Moor and Mark Sutton to join its leadership
team. De Moor was appointed as group chief financial officer and
he has more than 20 years of global experience across asset
management, wealth, and fintech. Sutton, who became group chief
risk officer, spent seven years as group CRO at St James’s
Place.
B2PRIME Group, a global financial services provider for institutional and professional clients, appointed Emanuel Georgouras as chief revenue officer. Georgouras has more than 25 years of experience in financial markets. Prior to joining B2PRIME, he served as CEO of UK-regulated broker Edgewater Markets.
State Street Investment Management appointed Stephen Yeat as CEO
of its UK-based investment management entity. He was
previously global head of systematic fixed income for State
Street IM, which he joined in 2007.
Crédit Agricole CIB, part of Crédit Agricole, appointed Stéphane
Ducroizet as deputy chief executive in charge of financing
activities. Natacha Gallou, who joined Indosuez in 1992, took
over Ducroizet’s previous role of senior regional officer for the
Americas, while Eric de Lambilly replaced Gallou as head of
risk and permanent control.
De Lambilly, who joined Crédit Agricole Indosuez in 1997, reports
functionally to Jean-François Balaÿ, and hierarchically to
Valérie Wanquet, the group chief risk officer. Ducroizet
began his career in 1993 at Crédit Lyonnais’ corporate banking
groups in Paris. After serving in a series of roles, in 2021, he
became deputy general manager in charge of risk and permanent
control and then senior regional officer for the Americas region
at the end of 2022.
UK-based JM Finn appointed Samir Shah as senior research analyst
to focus on the firm’s collectives holdings. Shah is a senior
member of the firm’s investment office and is responsible for
overseeing JM Finn’s collectives research. He reports to Jon
Cunliffe, head of the investment office. Shah has served in
senior roles at Quilter Cheviot and Aberdeen Asset
Management.
JM Finn also appointed Jonathan Taylor and Tom Cheesman to build
out its specialist Court of Protection service. With more 25
years’ experience serving clients and deputies, Taylor is an
expert in managing wealth for Court of Protection clients and
personal injury trusts. Cheesman, who has worked with Taylor for
the last six years, was also previously at Investec and
subsequently Rathbones, before joining JM Finn as an investment
manager.
UK-based Artorius, an independently-owned wealth advisory firm,
appointed Andrew Dixon as its new head of wealth planning. Dixon
previously worked with Jane Fowke at both Barclays and SG Hambros
(recently acquired by UBP) where he served as head of wealth
planning.
Oak promoted Cappucienne Richardson to deputy managing director
of its Bahamas office. Richardson continues to guide Oak Bahamas’
operations. Richardson joined Amber Trust Ltd in 2022. Opera
Limited bought Amber Trust in 2025. She has over 20 years of
international trust administration experience.
Goldman Sachs established a private wealth management team in
Saudi Arabia. It transferred Yousef Alhozaimy and Khalid Soufi as
private wealth advisors, based in Riyadh.
Nucleus Financial Platforms, an independent advisor platform group, promoted Mike Regan to the newly created-role of deputy CEO. Regan, who joined Nucleus in 2022 initially as CFO, and acting as chief commercial officer, is keeping these responsibilities.
Suntera Global appointed John Hilson as director business
development. Based in London, Hilson serves UK clients,
intermediaries and business introducers to boost Suntera’s
private wealth offering. Hilson has more than 25 years of
experience in the financial services industry, with a background
in private banking and wealth management.
Arbuthnot Latham, a UK private bank, expanded its Real
Estate Finance (REF) team with three new hires and two
internal promotions.
The three new team members include Rashid Khan-Gandapur, who
has more than 30 years’ experience in residential and commercial
property finance across the UK and Europe; Richard Truett,
who has more than 15 years of expertise in real estate and
banking in a career including senior roles at NatWest,
spanning relationship management, real estate strategy, and
proposition development; and Holly Smyth who has analytical
expertise and sector insight, shaped by her background in
economics, underwriting, and portfolio
management. Additionally, Carla Dujon and Nayan Yadav were
promoted within the REF team.
The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI)
appointed Rosie Glazebrook, Susan Daniel MCSI and Nicholas (Nick)
Garnish, Chartered MCSI to join the board.
UBS appointed Daniele Magazzeni as chief artificial intelligence
officer to advance the firm’s AI strategy. He is based in London,
reporting to Mike Dargan, group chief operations and technology
officer. He joined from JP Morgan, where he served as chief
analytics officer for both the EMEA region and the commercial and
investment bank.
FundBank appointed David Morrissey as country head, Ireland for its new Dublin operation. A funds industry expert, Morrissey has more than 30 years' experience working within financial services.
Weatherbys Private Bank hired former Coutts director Michelle Duncalf as senior private banker and team lead for its Manchester team of bankers. Former Coutts CEO Rory Tapner also joined Weatherbys as a board member. Duncalf was previously head of Coutts' Manchester office. With 30 years in the banking industry, Tapner served as CEO of Coutts & Co from 2010 to 2015, following five years as chair and CEO, Asia Pacific at Swiss private bank UBS.
Fidelity International appointed Paul Heselden in the newly-created role of head of strategic relationship management for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), based in London. Heselden, who joined Fidelity in 2000, was previously a sales director responsible for distribution in the wholesale UK market.
Charles Russell Speechlys, an international law firm, expanded its international funds and investment management team. It appointed Matthew Griffin, who was previously head of funds and investment management Europe at Mayer Brown. Charles Russell Speechlys also appointed Libby Elliott as a partner in the corporate, restructuring, and insolvency team in London. Prior to joining the firm, Elliott was a managing director and head of risk and legal.
Charles Russell Speechlys also appointed Annapaola Negri-Clementi
and her team to join its Milan office. The team includes two
senior associates, Arianna Leonardelli (corporate) and Valeria
Tommasi (IP), and senior art consultant, Giorgia Ligasacchi, who
supports her on the range of matters across corporate law, IP and
art advisory.
BNP Paribas appointed Yusuf Savmaz as the new CEO Wealth
Management Switzerland. He had acted as interim CEO Wealth
Management Switzerland since 1 June 2025, based in Zurich. He
replaced Beat Bachmann, who stepped down in May 2025 to become
CEO of BNP Wealth Management Germany.
Sarasin & Partners, a global thematic investment manager,
appointed Mark Burgess as an independent non-executive director
of its LLP board. With more than 30 years of senior fund
management experience, Burgess most recently served as chief
investment officer (CIO) EMEA and deputy global CIO at Columbia
Threadneedle Investments, a position he held for nine
years.
T Rowe Price appointed Nataline Terry as head of EMEA
distribution. Terry succeeded Nick Trueman, who decided to leave
the firm at the end of 2025. Terry has more than 20 years of
asset management experience, including positions at BlackRock,
UBS, and Columbia Threadneedle.
Mourant, a law firm-led professional services business, appointed Adrian Dobbyn as head of Luxembourg corporate governance. Dobbyn has more than a decade of legal and corporate experience in private equity, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and corporate restructurings, alongside significant skill in cross-border transactions.
Mourant named Tom Fothergill as partner in its Jersey Finance and Corporate practice. Prior to joining Mourant, Fothergill practised at two other offshore law firms in Jersey and worked for the government of Jersey as the lead policy advisor for financial services, digital economy and financial crime. Before his legal career, he served as an officer in the British Army.
Mourant appointed Richard Nunn as managing director, Middle
East, based in the United Arab Emirates. He joined from
Deloitte, where he spent six years working with family
enterprises in Saudi Arabia and the UAE. Prior to that, he served
as global head – overseas markets at Jersey Finance, based in the
UAE.
Latitude Investment Management, a London-based boutique
investment firm, appointed Will Morgan as a senior investment
analyst. Morgan has more than 25 years’ investment experience.
Prior to this, he worked for eight years at Fundsmith.
W1M Wealth Management, the UK business formed from the merger
last year of Waverton Investment Management and London and
Capital, appointed Jenny Quan, Paul Bentley and Luke Edy to join
its private wealth team. They report to Nick Hammond, W1M’s head
of private wealth and US private wealth.
Guernsey-based Bank Aston appointed Will Davey as chief financial officer (CFO). Most recently, Davey was managing director and deputy CFO of Credit Suisse AG Parent Bank.
Stonehage Fleming appointed Mark Swart as head of Family Office
Division, Isle of Man. Swart moved to the jurisdiction from the
firm’s Jersey office, where he was a partner in the family office
division. He spent almost a decade in the firm’s Jersey office
serving international ultra and high net worth families as
relationship manager, rising from senior associate in 2016 to
partner in 2024.
Banque Cramer & Cie, a Geneva-headquartered private bank,
appointed senior Swiss bank industry figure Reto Kunz as chairman
of its board of directors. He succeeded Massimo Esposito, who is
continuing as a director. Before working as an independent
risk management expert, Kunz was chief risk officer at EFG Bank
and BSI, head of group risk management at Liechtensteinische
Landesbank (now called LLB Group), head of credit risk wealth
management global, and then risk officer at UBS.
Swiss Life Asset Managers appointed co-CEOs Tim Munn and Eduardo
Illitsch to join its UK business. They took over from Giles
King, current CEO. Munn, who has 27 years’ experience in real
estate investment management, joined the firm in 2020, serving as
chief investment officer. Illitsch has 31 years’ international
financial industry experience. He has been at Swiss Life AM since
2018 as head of international sales. Prior to that, he worked at
JP Morgan Asset Management and Credit Suisse.
Raymond James Investment Services made two senior appointments to
its wealth management services team: Chris Cahill, divisional
director and Ben Camp-Bell, director of wealth management
services.
Carne Group appointed Saro Grano as CEO of its Swiss management
company, Carne Global Fund Managers (Switzerland). Grano most
recently served as head of exchange-traded platforms and
strategic initiatives at Zürcher Kantonalbank (ZKB) Asset
Management.
MAPFRE AM, the asset management arm of Madrid-based MAPFRE Group,
appointed Ismael García Puente as the new deputy director of
investment strategy, a newly created position.
Schroders Wealth Management made six appointments for its
global leadership team:
-- Alexander Pronk, with experience from Goldman Sachs, UBS and
Credit Suisse, joined as chief executive for Europe and the
Middle East. He has worked in a number of jurisdictions,
including the Netherlands and Switzerland.
-- Andreas Piepke was appointed global chief operating officer in
wealth management, joining from HSBC Private Bank. He has
extensive experience across Europe and Asia.
-- Mark Pickering came on board as global head of banking,
lending and trading; he has expertise in global markets and
private banking, spending over 20 years at Citigroup.
-- Paul Fletcher, who previously worked at Aviva, joined as
global chief marketing officer.
-- Kate Rogers took on a new role as global head of
proposition and group collaboration.
-- Steve Davenport joined as wealth platform transformation
programme manager. He has a background in delivering complex,
regulated change programmes across Barclays, HSBC and Deutsche
Bank.
-- Dominic Emmerson, deputy CEO of Cazenove Capital,
oversees the Channel Islands alongside the UK. Giles Neville
is CEO of Channel Islands.
Schroders appointed new chairs: Adrian Noesberger, chair of
Schroder & Co Bank AG; and Jason Lai, chair of Schroders Wealth
Management in Asia.
Ben Snee was slated to step down as CEO of LGT Wealth Management after 13 years in the role. He was due to end his role in early 2026, after which he will remain connected to the firm in a non-executive capacity. Heinrich Henckel, former long-standing CEO of LGT Bank Switzerland, and member of the senior management board of LGT Private Banking, was to take on the role – subject to regulatory approval.
London-headquartered Blevins Franks, tax and wealth management advisors to UK nationals living in Europe, appointed Partners Wealth Management co-founder James Roberts as its chief executive officer. Roberts succeeded John Simmonds.
London-based Hunters Law promoted two of its senior associates to
partner: Katie Martin and Vanina Wittenburg.
Martin has experience in probate and estate administration.
Her practice covers preparing wills, trusts, lifetime and
post-death tax planning, lasting power of attorney and
applications to the Court of Protection. Martin joined Hunters
Law in 2004 as an associate before being promoted to senior
associate in 2007.
Wittenburg, who undertakes a range of private client work,
acting for individuals, executors and trustees, joined the
firm as an associate in October 2018 and was promoted to senior
associate in 2021.
UK law firm Hugh James appointed Danielle Cahill as a partner in
its private wealth disputes team, based in the firm’s City of
London office. Cahill was formerly a senior associate at Clifford
Chance.
Rodolfo Fracassi, CEO and founder of MainStreet Partners, a
European firm operating in the field of ESG investing and
sustainability, stepped down. Neill Blanks, who joined
MainStreet Partners in 2020, took over as chief executive.
UK-based Dynamic Planner, a digital advice platform, appointed
Alan Smith as enterprise development director. Smith
previously served in senior roles at AS WealthTech Consulting; at
Citibank in New York as head of global investments; and head of
investments and insurance at HSBC in London.
UBS appointed Michael Baechli to join WM Middle East as market
head NRI/NRP, reporting directly to Niels Zilkens, MD, head
Wealth Management Middle East. Baechli succeeded Promit Ghose who
was due to retire at end of the year. Baechli has more than 20
years of experience in the Indian and NRI wealth management
segments, including 16 years in Dubai and seven years in
Singapore.
Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management recruited an active
management quant team, led by industry veteran Bruno Taillardat,
including senior quant portfolio managers, Xavier Marconnet and
Frédéric Girod.
North America
Fiduciary Trust International appointed Alice Pearl as trust
counsel, based in its Los Angeles office. Pearl joined from
Kopple, Klinger & Elbaz in Los Angeles, where she was a senior
associate attorney working with ultra-high net worth and HNW
clients on trust administration, probate, transactional estate
planning, and advanced tax and gift planning matters.
Ameriprise Financial said a team of 16 wealth sector professionals at The Atlantic Group joined its branch channel, based in Boca Raton, Florida. The team, previously working at Oppenheimer & Co, managed more than $1.6 billion in client assets. The practice is led by founding partners Andrew Lerner and Logan Shalmi. Ameriprise regional vice president Michael Rearden, complex director Daniel Landrau and branch manager Drew Granauro support the team locally.
UBS Global Wealth Management appointed Bryan Davidson as a financial advisor in its Scottsdale, Arizona, office. He came from BMO Investment Services, also in Scottsdale. Davidson has more than 20 years’ financial services experience, including 17 years directly advising clients on wealth management strategies.
Thryve Wealth Management appointed Randol Curtis as co-founder and chief investment officer. Curtis was CIO of the wealth management business at Strive. Prior to this, he was deputy CIO at One Capital Management.
Envestnet appointed Bhaskar Peddhapati as chief technology officer., reporting to Chris Todd, CEO. He served as senior vice president/head of mortgage technology solutions at Cotality (formerly CoreLogic).
EisnerAmper appointed Jack Azagury as chair of the board for Eisner Advisory Group, part of the global business advisory and accounting network. Azagury recently joined TowerBrook Capital Partners as a senior advisor to its business services sector. Before that, he served as group chief executive for consulting at Accenture.
Sequoia Financial Group, an Ohio-headquartered RIA, made a number of senior appointments. Annie McCauley, chief client experience officer, became president of Sequoia Financial, assuming the role from Tom Haught, founder, chairman and chief executive officer. Joe Glick, chief operating officer and chief financial officer, expanded his role to include investment research. Chris Thom, chief strategy and partnerships officer, became chief growth officer. The executive team also includes Gee Smith, head of Sequoia Sentinel Family Office; Justin Stets, head of integrated wealth services; and Kevin Tichnell, chief acquisitions officer.
Certuity, a multi-family office, appointed former UBS senior figure Giuliano Celle as managing director, head of institutional wealth. He is based in New York City. Celle has more than 20 years of global financial services experience spanning wealth management, investment banking, venture capital, and private equity. Celle was managing director of global family and institutional wealth, Latin America/International, at UBS. He previously served in senior roles at JP Morgan.
Citi Private Bank Latin America appointed a former senior UBS figure to be the new market executive for its Mexico business. Carlos Rodriguez Aspirichaga joined Citi Private Bank Mexico; at UBS, he was a financial advisor in Miami, where he led cross-border strategies for complex, multijurisdictional Mexican families. The previous incumbent, Sonia Romero-Garcia, became investment counselor team lead for Citi Private Bank Mexico, reporting to Rodriguez Aspirichaga.
RWA Wealth Partners said senior advisors Jennifer Votano and Evelyn Pepe had joined its family office team. Votano and Pepe serve as managing directors at RWA Family Office, reporting to Nicole LaChapelle, president of family office at the business. Prior to joining RWA, Votano served in advisor roles at Clarfeld | Citizens Private Wealth and New England Private Wealth Advisors. Pepe spent 15 years as a senior private wealth advisor at Clarfeld | Citizens Private Wealth, where she advised executives, business owners, and multigenerational families.
Axtella, a financial network of two broker/dealers and a registered investment advisor, added two advisory teams for the New York area. Judge is based in Ossining, New York. The other joiner was Bill Gillett from Commonwealth Agency in Fishkill, New York.
Jonathan Connolly, a former Wealthspire Trust CEO and senior figure at banks such as UBS was named president and chief operating office for Wealth Advisors Trust Company (WATC), a corporate trustee. Connolly has more than 30 years of leadership in fiduciary and wealth management. Earlier in his career, Connolly has served in senior roles at UBS, Comerica Bank & Trust, RBC Trust Company of Delaware, PNC Bank, and TD Bank. Most recently, he served as chief executive at Wealthspire Trust, a Tennessee-chartered public trust company.
WisdomTree, which operates exchange-traded funds, appointed Beena Joseph as global head of human resources. Joseph joined the firm in 2014 via its acquisition of Boost ETP. Joseph reports to chief operating officer and president Jarrett Lilien.
Howden, a global insurance broker, appointed Joe Clark as president and Dale Krupowicz as head of operations for its private risk solutions business in the US.
Mercer Advisors appointed Katelyn Shackleton as executive managing director, New Partner Success. The company’s partner integration team, led by Rick Weyers, vice president, partner integration, report to Shackleton, who was most recently at LPL Financial.
Grant Philanthropic Advisors added Darcy Addison and Leslie Gross as partners. Addison has worked for more than 25 years in the philanthropic sector. Gross was a former Deputy Assistant Secretary at the US Department of Homeland Security. She coordinated with the nation's top officials during Hurricane Sandy, the Syrian refugee crisis, and the Boston Marathon bombing. As Chief Counsel in the US Senate, her investigations uncovered billions in global development waste, fraud, and abuse.
Leon Capital Group, a family office, appointed Travis Pittman as managing partner for strategic investments, a new platform. Prior to joining Leon Capital Group, Pittman co-founded and led the transaction advisory services practice at Portage Point Partners, a middle-market business advisory, interim management, and investment banking firm.
European third-party ManCo Carne Group, a provider of fund regulation and governance solutions for the asset management industry, appointed Clair Turketo as managing director, client solutions, based in New York. Turketo has more than 18 years of experience of US and European fund products and structures, compliance, financial crime, and governance.
RBC Wealth Management – US, part of Royal Bank of Canada, brought James Christy, managing director and financial advisor, and portfolio manager, to its Tysons, Virginia branch. Christy, along with senior financial associate Jennifer Ruppert, managed about $400 million in client assets.
New Mountain Capital, an alternative investment firm headquartered in New York, hired William Dunigan as its head of wealth solutions and a NMC managing director. Prior to this, Dunigan worked in various senior roles at BlackRock, in a career there spanning 18 years.
SEI appointed one of its senior figures, Dave Langdale, as chief revenue officer for its US private banking business, effective January 1, 2026. He reports to Sanjay Sharma, global head of SEI’s private banking business and chief executive of SEI International.
MAI Capital Management, an RIA, appointed Kathleen Alcorn as chief marketing officer. She brought more than two decades of financial services marketing experience to MAI’s leadership team. Alcorn served as CMO at Focus Financial Partners and Nasdaq Corporate Solutions.
New Jersey-based Provident Bank appointed Annamaria Vitelli in the newly-created role of executive vice president, chief growth officer of Beacon Trust, a full-service wealth management firm and wholly owned subsidiary of Provident Bank. Most recently, Vitelli served as executive vice president, head of Hawthorn at PNC Private Bank, where she led the ultra-high net worth business segment.
Commonwealth Financial Network, a national RIA founded nearly 40 years ago, added Vahanian & Associates Financial Planning to its independent advisor network. The team, which joined from Osaic, is led by Jeffrey Vahanian, president, CEO, and financial advisor; Bonnie Boyce, vice president, chief financial officer, and chief compliance officer; and Cameron Corsi, vice president, chief strategy officer, and wealth advisor. It also includes Lisa Cast, director of operations and client experience; Cory Larmour, director of financial planning; and Taryn Sheehan, director of client services.
Carson Group fully acquired the Carson Wealth location in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania: The acquired business is led by managing partner and wealth advisor Neal McGrath.
TritonPoint Partners brought in Greg Powers as a partner and managing director, expanding its presence with offices in Scottsdale, Arizona, and San Diego, California.
Frank Bisignano, a former Fiserv CEO and JP Morgan and Citigroup senior figure, and current Commissioner of the Social Security Administration, became the CEO of the Internal Revenue Service. This is a newly-created role for the US tax collection agency. Bisignano reports to acting IRS commissioner Scott Bessent, who is also Treasury Secretary. Bisignano retained his Social Security position.
Separately, Derek Theurer now performs duties of deputy secretary of the Treasury. Theurer joined the organization in January 2025 as counselor, assisting Bessent with global tax negotiations and enactment of President Donald Trump’s tax cut agenda.
Baird appointed Sean Wintz as a director and financial advisor, based in a new office opening in Alexandria, Virginia. He is supported by client assistant Uesa Robinson. Wintz came from Edelman Financial Engines.
Verdence Capital Advisors, an independent private wealth advisory firm, appointed John R Piccirilli as a director, based in Sarasota, Florida. Among Piccirilli’s roles prior to joining Verdence, he co-founded and served as principal of HNP Capital in New York.
RFG Advisory, a platform for independent advisors, appointed senior industry figure Ed Swenson – a co-founder of Dynasty Financial Partners – as president. For the past two years, Swenson served on RFG’s board of directors.
John Boxer, a former Morgan Lewis partner who spent the last 11 years as general counsel and chief operating officer of Metropolitan Wealth Management, returned as a partner in the private client group. Boxer’s former business, Metropolitan Wealth Management, is a private, multi-family office and subsidiary of Bellevue Capital Partners.

Connecticut-based financial advisors Tom Hine, Jordan Hickey,
Kelsey Conklin, and Michael Nicoletti joined the independent
advisor channel in Connecticut.
Advisors Trevor Becker and Peter Kotkas are co-founders of Noble Investments, based in White Salmon, Washington and Portland, Oregon.
Financial advisors Paul Williamson and Matt Hamilton joined the independent advisor channel, and are based in Vero Beach, Florida.
Financial advisor Kevin Brown joined the firm's independent advisor segment Charleston, South Carolina. Brown operates as R E Baxter and Associates. He came from Osaic.
A Massachusetts-based group of six advisors, in Ludlow, joined Raymond James. The group is led by managing partner Edward Sokolowski. It arrived from Commonwealth Financial Network.
In one group move, 11 financial advisors with Southwest Wealth Strategies entered the independent advisor channel. The SWS team is led by managing partner John Arnold, and senior partners Ray Dimuzio, Mark Asher, Chris Lanier, Ben Miles, and Nick Obie.
A team of advisors in San Diego, working at what is called The Manning Companies, joined the independent advisor channel. They were at Commonwealth Financial Network, and include Michael A Manning, William B Corder, Roger D Groves, Heather R Nicholas, and Richard Carlquist. Supporting them are TMC’s director of operations Tina Emmet, operations and client service manager Camellia Perez-Hunter, and office manager and marketing coordinator Elizabeth Steffanic, who leads the group’s 10-member operations team.
Advisor Michael J Salerno, who has more than 30 years’ financial services experience, came to Raymond James’s independent advisor channel. Salerno was formerly at Cetera Investment Services.
Advisors Tim Kelly and Coleman Kelly joined the independent advisor channel in Red Wing, Minnesota. They operate as Endurance Wealth Management and arrived from LPL Financial.
A quartet of financial advisors joined the independent advisor channel: Brian Keister; Jody Chiapelli; Sara Hinthorne; and Joshua Keister. They are based in Bethalto, Illinois, as KCH Financial. Previously, they were at Commonwealth Financial Network.

Two advisors joined the financial institutions division: Thomas Vitaletti and Tommy Vitaletti. They became part of Towne Wealth Management (TWM), located at TowneBank in Williamsburg, Virginia. The father-son team were previously part of Old Point National Bank, which was acquired by TowneBank in September.
A former advisor at Commonwealth Financial Network, Kirk Huismann joined the independent advisor channel. Huismann is based in Lee’s Summit, Missouri.

Bank of Singapore appointed Che Yan and Hank Chen to join its
Hong Kong branch as senior relationship managers under the team
of Irene Wat, market head of Greater China. Prior to joining Bank
of Singapore, Che Yan she served as co-head of private banking
and head of the cross-border business department at China
Minsheng Bank. At the latter bank, she led the strategic
integration of corporate and private banking services.
Hank Chen has nearly 25 years of experience serving HNW and institutional clients, with expertise in investment advisory, asset allocation and managing business cycles. He was previously an executive director and a relationship manager at JP Morgan Private Bank’s China team.
Bank of Singapore also brought back Bikram Sen as market head for Global South Asia and International. Previously at UBS, Sen, who is based in Singapore, reports to Zubin Dabu, market group head for Global South Asia and International. With more than 20 years of experience in private banking and asset management, Sen served in senior leadership roles at Credit Suisse, Coutts, Standard Chartered, and most recently UBS.
Deutsche Bank appointed Cora Chiu as head of investment management, North Asia. She reports functionally to Gian-Maria Piccolo and locally to Fred Fong. Chiu has nearly 20 years' experience across foreign exchange and commodity advisory, multi-asset trading, and product strategy at HSBC.
Natixis Investment Managers appointed former Schroders senior figure Ping Yee Low as its head of institutional business, Singapore and Southeast Asia. Low, who is based in Singapore, reports to Dora Seow, CEO, Natixis IM Singapore. At Schroders, Low was head of institutional business for Southeast Asia – a post she held for more than seven years. Previously, she worked for six years at CTBC Bank Co (Singapore), and before that, at Mercer.
SimCorp appointed Jesper Tyrer as head of sales for Asia-Pacific, and Medi Tuku as head of solutions engineering for the same region. Tyrer has experience at Bloomberg and as a company founder. Prior to SimCorp, he spent eight years at BlackRock, most recently as head of APAC Aladdin Business Development. Both leaders are based in Singapore; they report to Edward Bee, senior managing director, head of APAC.
BNP Paribas Wealth Management made a number of changes to its investment service teams in Asia-Pacific. It melded its client-facing investment advisory roles into a single “advisory spectrum,” led by Rajesh Hathiramani, who already headed its MyAdvisory and Portfolio Advisory Services businesses. He also took on the post of head of active advisory for Asia, succeeding Sharon Loh. Before joining BNP Paribas WM, Hathiramani served in senior leadership roles at UBS in Singapore and Hong Kong, including head of active portfolio advisory, Asia. He is based in Singapore.
Turning to the Greater China market, the firm appointed Xinran Li as head of active advisory, Hong Kong, reporting to Hathiramani. Li, managing director and senior investment counsellor, has been at the firm since 2015. Jack Lee, who led the Hong Kong team, became the head of discretionary portfolio management for Asia.
A former HSBC senior figure for Taiwan, Eric Kao, joined BNP Paribas Wealth Management. Kao's role is team head, private banking. With more than 14 years of private banking experience in Asian markets, Kao was most recently team head at HSBC Global Private Banking (Taipei). Previously , he served in a similar role at UBS (Taipei).
BNP Paribas Wealth Management appointed Che-Kun Hsu as head of wealth management for Taiwan. He replaced Kate Lin who left the bank earlier to take on a role at KGI Bank, a local Taiwan bank. Hsu reports to Tellier and functionally to Bruno Boussard, CEO of Taiwan, BNP Paribas. Hsu joined the French firm from UBS in Taiwan.
A former senior Goldman Sachs figure joined JP Morgan Private Bank in Hong Kong. Adrian Loh was appointed as managing director at the US bank. Prior to this, Loh worked at Goldman Sachs for almost a decade, starting in May 2014, based in Hong Kong, serving as MD, private wealth management.
Arcus, a UK-based specialist asset manager concentrating on Japan, appointed Takaaki Haruki as head of its research office, based in Tokyo. Haruki succeeded Peter Tasker, who will be stepping down from the role at the end of 2025 after 27 years at the helm.
Citigroup appointed Chelsea Chu as head of corporate banking for Taiwan, based in Taipei. Chu has more than 26 years’ banking experience, having previously worked at ANZ in Taiwan, where she was head of corporate coverage.
PGIM Real Estate made two senior appointments designed to accelerate its expansion in debt and equity markets in its Australian business. Sam Mellor joined as head of real estate debt, Australia, and Stuart Carr joined as head of real estate equity, Australia. The roles are newly created; both men are based in Sydney. Mellor and Carr report to Steve Bulloch, head of Australia for GIM real estate and head of Asia-Pacific real estate debt.
Lioner International Group appointed former HSBC senior figure Henry Lam as group strategic advisor. Most recently, Lam was regional head of wealth planning and advisory, Asia-Pacific at HSBC Private Bank. He has also held leadership positions at Credit Suisse and UBS.
The firm also appointed Gary Mak as general manager, Hong Kong. Mak oversees Lioner’s Hong Kong operations, driving sales strategy, commercial execution, and advisor engagement across the firm’s 3-in-1 wealth structuring platform. Mak has worked at firms such as Fubon Life, ACE Life, AXA, MetLife, and New York Life. Most recently, Mak served as head of brokerage at Fubon Life (Hong Kong).
Blackstone appointed former Deutsche Bank figure Apurva Shah to join its Blackstone Credit & Insurance (BXCI) business – its first hire in India. He has over 26 years of experience and expertise in leveraged finance, securitisations, structuring, M&A advisory, and capital markets. Shah reports to Mark Glengarry, head of APAC for private credit strategies in BXCI.
JP Morgan Asset Management appointed Swa Wu as head of Asia ex-Japan investment specialists within its global fixed income, currency and commodities (GFICC) group, based in Hong Kong. Swa Wu, who leads the investment specialist team in Asia, reports to London-based Jemma Clee, international head of investment specialists for GFICC. Swa Wu returned to JPMAM with over a decade of experience as a senior fixed income investment specialist.
Raffles Family Office added two seasoned professionals to its relationship management team in Hong Kong. Michael Tung joined as managing director, and Jennie Liang as executive director. They are both based in Hong Kong, reporting directly to Chi Man Kwan, group chief executive officer.
Tung has extensive experience in banking and finance, with expertise in private equity and venture capital across Greater China, Southeast Asia, and the US. He began his career with UBS and Morgan Stanley and later transitioned into the family office sector with Rockpool Capital and Ark Advisors. Liang previously served in key positions at UBS, Credit Suisse, Rockpool Capital, and Ark Advisors.
EFG (Singapore Branch) hired two bankers who have joined its global South Asia team, led by Ravi Ramakrishnan, market group head. Vikram Nimkar, market head, global South Asia (GSA), reports to Ramakrishnan. Most recently, Nimkar served as head of private banking Asia at First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB). Shonali Batra, client relationship officer, GSA, also based in Singapore, reports to market head, Hussain Poonawalla.
EFG Bank appointed Robin Heng as vice chairman of Southeast Asia. Based in Singapore, Heng reports to Albert Chiu, executive chairman, Asia Pacific of EFG, and functionally to Tho Gea Hong, chief executive officer, Singapore branch. Heng is a private banking veteran with 30 years of experience in the financial industry. He recently served as co-head of private banking at Bank of Singapore,
PineBridge Investments appointed Katerina Irwan as senior vice president to strengthen the firm’s Asia equities function. Irwan is based in Singapore. She has more than 18 years of experience in fundamental equity research and portfolio management.
Allspring Global Investments appointed Jeremy Gordon as head of sales for Australia and New Zealand. Gordon, who is based in Sydney, reports to Andy Sowerby, head of the International Client Group at Allspring. Gordon spent more than 17 years at Challenger Investment Management, which included leading institutional sales and client service for Challenger Life, and Fidante affiliate Ardea Investment Management.
Blackstone appointed Kimberly Kim as a senior managing director and head of Asia-Pacific insurance institutional client solutions for Blackstone Credit & Insurance.
Eastspring Investments appointed Ioannis Kampouris as head of quantitative strategies. Kampouris, who is based in Singapore, reports to Vis Nayar, chief investment officer of Eastspring Investments. Previously, he worked at HSBC Asset Management in the UK.
The private bank of Barclays in Singapore made appointments in
Asia:
David Nendick relocated from London to take on the role of team
leader for the Southeast Asia market. With more than 40 years of
experience advising ultra-HNW families and family offices in
Asia, Nendick focuses on expanding the bank’s coverage in
Thailand and Malaysia.
Barclays named Clare Yang as team leader for the North Asia market. Most recently, Yang was executive director at JP Morgan, and previously with Credit Suisse and UOB.
Jessine Chua was made senior private banker for Malaysia and Singapore. Chua has more than two decades of experience at LGT Bank and UBS. The three managers report to Evonne Tan, the head of the private bank in Singapore.
Additionally, Jerome Idres joined as the head of investment services platform and product management (ISP) in Singapore. Idres has nearly 25 years of experience of private banking and capital markets, most recently at Deutsche Private Bank.

Edy Panggabean was been appointed senior relationship manager and
cluster head for Indonesia. He joined from UBS Global Wealth
Management, where he advised UHNW families, family offices and
entrepreneurs across Indonesia.
Xilin Yeo joined the Indonesia team as relationship manager (RM); she previously served sophisticated clients across Southeast Asia at UBS Global Wealth Management.
Kraisit Buakruen joined as an RM based in Singapore, reporting to Benjamin Wang, desk head for Thailand and Vietnam. He has more than a decade of wealth management and private banking experience, most recently with Kasikornbank in Bangkok.
Fiona Gan joined the Greater China team as an RM, reporting to Catherine Claire Lim, desk head for China and Hong Kong. Gan was previously at UBS Global Wealth Management.
