A roundup of the moves, changes, appointments and personnel shifts in January around the world.
ZEDRA appointed Cameron Senior as deputy regional head of the
Crown Dependencies, a newly-created role. Senior has more than 25
years of experience in international banking and financial
services, having worked in Australia, the UK, Hong Kong,
Singapore and Jersey. He is based in Jersey and works with
regional head Steven Bowen and leadership teams across Jersey,
Guernsey and the Isle of Man.
The Association of Investment Companies appointed Sapna Shah as
chair. Shah, a senior advisor at Panmure Liberum, previously
served as co-head of the investment companies team. She joined
the AIC board in 2021 and was appointed deputy chair in January
2024.
LGT Wealth Management appointed Prachi Kodlikeri, its chief
technology officer, as a partner. Kodlikeri joined the firm in
2024, having previously spent more than 13 years at Goldman Sachs
in senior technology roles, latterly as a senior vice president.
She also spent five years at Ruffer as technology director and
partner.
The firm also appointed Andrew Bell as a wealth planner in its
Leeds office and confirmed Elliott O’Brien as head of Leeds.
O’Brien continues to sit as head of strategy development for the
firm. Before joining LGT Wealth Management in 2025, Bell was a
senior wealth planner at Swiss private bank UBP.
Forsters appointed Craig Thompson as head of international, a
newly-created role. The firm said Thompson will be responsible
for driving its international growth strategy, developing its
presence in key markets and building relationships with clients
and intermediaries globally.
Ascot Lloyd appointed Felice Rea as chief risk and controls
officer. She oversees enterprise risk, compliance and governance,
supporting its growth strategy. Rea spent the past 11 years as
group finance director at Ascot Lloyd and previously worked at
Torquil Clark.
Aviva Investors appointed Eoin Rooney as director of digital
channels and Serena Burton as strategic partners director within
the firm’s UK wealth team, both are based in London. Rooney
reports to Smera Ashraf, who has recently promoted to the
newly-created role of head of EMEA wealth. Rooney, spent several
years at Vanguard, working across the D2C offer and strategy
within the firm’s UK Personal Investor business. Burton
reports to Hayley Randall, head of UK advisory distribution. She
also joined from Vanguard, where she held varying positions, most
recently as business development manager, supporting the UK
distribution intermediary team.
Global X ETFs Europe appointed Gea Blumberg as head of business
development and co-head of Global X ETFs Europe. She serves
alongside chief operating officer and co-head of Global X ETFs
Europe, George Taylor, based in London. Blumberg previously led
business and sales strategy in Europe for WisdomTree.
Sarasin & Partners appointed Fiona O’Neill as head of investment.
Previously, she spent 20 years in a range of senior investment
roles at Fidelity International, most recently serving as head of
global equity research capabilities.
Law firm Winckworth Sherwood appointed Charlie Hancock as private
wealth and tax partner. Hancock previously worked at
Forsters.
Allspring Global Investments™ appointed Max Watson as consultant
relations director for its international business. He reports to
Joseph Dore, head of International Consultant Relations. Watson
has more than 15 years’ experience of working primarily with
global consultants as well as institutional and wealth
investors.
Generali Investments appointed Charles Kanengieser as senior
sales institutional within the French sales team and Alexandre
Jaussaud as senior sales within the Swiss sales team. Kanengieser
is based in Paris. Jaussaud is based in Geneva.
RBC Brewin Dolphin appointed four wealth managers for its
London, Cambridge and Cardiff offices. It also made two head of
office promotions in its Marlborough and Shrewsbury offices.
Mursal Ali and Tom Kieldsen joined the London office as wealth
managers, Neil Trickett joined as a wealth manager in the
Cambridge office, and Emily Tarrant did so as a wealth manager in
the Cardiff office. The firm promoted Simon Bird to head of its
Marlborough office after Stephen Depla decided to step down
as head of office and become a consultant for the company. Mike
Williams was promoted to head of the Shrewsbury office after
David Hall’s chose to step down as head of office after 15 years
to focus on his wealth manager role within the Shrewsbury
office.
Angel Capital Scotland appointed a new board of directors, with
Niki McKenzie, joint managing director of Archangels, becoming
chair. She replaced Jock Millican, who stepped down as chair
after 14 years. McKenzie joined in 2011 after spending 16 years
in banking and structured finance with KPMG and Lloyds Banking
Group.
Hargreaves Lansdown appointed Lisa Hillier as its new chief
people officer. She has a blend of financial services and
regulatory experience, having spent 15 years at Aviva earlier in
her career and five years in a senior people leadership role at
Ofcom.
First Eagle Investments appointed Thomas C Krämer as senior
investment director in its International Wealth Solutions
division, based in the firm’s London office, reporting to Rémi
Casals, head of International Wealth Solutions.
HarbourVest Partners appointed Ivan Pascual as head of private
wealth, EMEA. He reports to Venu Krishnamurthy, managing director
and head of Global Private Wealth. Previously, Pascual was
managing director and head of Wealth Client Business – Europe,
Africa and Middle East at BlackRock, where he worked for nearly
15 years.
Paris-headquartered Norman K, a wealth management and advisory
firm, opened a Luxembourg office. Nicolas L’Hermite and Nicolas
Mayer joined the group at the start of 2026 to lead and
develop the Luxembourg subsidiary, as CEO and sales director
respectively.
Quilter Investors made two hires in its manager research team:
Tahia Tahmin and James Sanderson.
Law firm Winckworth Sherwood appointed private wealth and tax
partner Arcangelo D’Apolito. A dual-qualified English and Italian
lawyer, D’Apolito came from the UK practice of Italian law firm,
Macchi di Cellere Gangemi.
London-based Langham Hall, a global fund administrator, appointed
Richard James as head of Europe alongside his role as head of UK.
James joined the firm in April 2024.
Fenchurch Advisory Partners, the specialist corporate finance
advisory firm to financial institution groups, appointed Noel
Monro as managing director. He was previously at Rothschild & Co
where he had been an MD since 2020, having joined as a graduate
in 2006.
IQ-EQ appointed Jodi Langlois as head of private wealth for
Guernsey. Langlois joined IQ-EQ in 2024 as client services
director.
Julius Baer appointed Eric Rosset as head of its Verbier branch.
Rosset succeeded Florian Michellod, who led the branch for the
past 12 years. Michellod will transition into a client
advisory role ahead of his planned retirement in mid-2027. Rosset
joined the Julius Baer Verbier branch in 2015 as senior
relationship manager. Prior to that, he held various positions in
wealth management at Swiss financial institutions, including
UBS.
Hanover, the executive search group, named Danny Jones as its new
chief executive as his eponymous firm, Huddleston Jones, joins
the Hanover Search Group. Jones is based in the Dubai
International Financial Centre.
AlTi Tiedemann Global appointed former Stanhope Capital partner
Alex Kershaw as managing director, based in London.
Kershaw is a chartered financial analyst with more than 24
years of experience providing advice on investments to
institutional and private clients.
Cognito, a specialist communications agency for the financial,
technology and the climate transition sector, appointed Simon
Evans as head of financial services in London. Previously, he was
a managing director for MHP Group’s capital markets and corporate
advisory team.
Beavis Morgan, a specialist accounting, tax, restructuring, and
business advisory firm, appointed Tim Shaw as corporate tax
partner. Shaw is a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA)-qualified
corporate tax specialist with more than 30 years’ experience
advising owner-managed businesses, inward investors,
multinational groups, and high net worth individuals.
Indosuez Wealth Management appointed Rolf Schilde, senior
executive officer, and Charles Tort, deputy chief executive
officer, Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) Branch.
Schilde reports to Emile Salawi, head of the Middle East and key
clients, CA Indosuez (Switzerland) SA. Schilde had been head
of Middle East for Switzerland within Indosuez since 2017. Tort
was and remains chief operating officer and finance officer of CA
Indosuez (Switzerland) SA DIFC branch in Dubai.
Julius Baer appointed former HSBC executive Jean Nabaa as chief
operating officer (COO) and member of the executive board. He
succeeded Nic Dreckmann, who stepped down from his roles. Cindy
Leggett-Flynn joined Julius Baer as head of group communications
in January 2026. At HSBC, Nabaa was most recently COO for
international wealth and premier banking and COO for global
private banking.
Sarasin & Partners appointed John Muir as business development
director for Scotland, Northern Ireland and Northern England.
Most recently, he served as sales director at O-IM Investment
Services, where he worked with professional advisors, wealth
managers and business owners to increase sales.
Harneys appointed Esmond Brown as a partner in its private wealth
department in the Cayman Islands office. Before joining Harneys,
he was a partner in the private client and trusts team at another
offshore law firm in the Cayman Islands.
Franklin Templeton appointed Kayode Adedoyin to join the EMEA
Private Markets Wealth team. Based in London, he reports to
George Szemere, head of alternatives EMEA Wealth Management. He
was previously at Schroders Capital.
Deutsche Bank Private Bank has made two hires to serve ultra-high
net worth clients in Denmark and Norway: Steen Krage and Morten
Frimann Grøtvedt.
Hargreaves Lansdown named a new CEO. Matt Benchener succeeded
interim chief executive Richard Flint. Benchener, who is a
managing director at Vanguard, joined in March for a handover
period, working alongside Flint. Benchener joined Vanguard in
2008.
Charles Russell Speechlys appointed Chiara Del Frate to join its
real estate team, based in London. Previously, Del Frate was a
special counsel in the London and Milan offices of K&L Gates,
a consultant at Millbank Solicitors, and she spent time in
private practice with Chiomenti and DLA Piper.
Zurich-headquartered Vontobel appointed Ella Smith as
intermediary client sales director for the UK and Ireland, based
in London. She was a sales manager at multi-asset and global
equity asset manager CCLA. Before that, she was client
relationship manager at Jupiter Asset Management.
Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management appointed Dominik Kremer as
head of distribution Germany and Austria and head of branch for
the Frankfurt office. He reports to Marie Jacot, global head of
distribution of Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management.
Previously, from June 2022, he was global head of sales at Haven
Green Investment Management in Frankfurt.
London-headquartered Sucden Financial, a global multi-asset
execution, clearing, and liquidity provider, appointed Bruno
Almeida as chief financial officer. Almeida joined Sucden
Financial as an executive director and director of regulatory and
financial risks in September 2024 from FNZ, where he served as
CFO for the UKMEA region.
Tyndall Investment Management appointed Josephine Fay as head of private client distribution. Previously, Fay led the distribution channel for professional services at RBC Brewin Dolphin.
Allspring Global Investments™, appointed Andrew Epsom as head of
insurance – international. Based in London, he reports to
Catherine McLaughlin, head of Institutional – UK, Ireland and the
Netherlands. Epsom held senior positions at Mercer, Royal
London Asset Management and Willis Towers Watson.
7IM appointed Antony Cockle as sales and development director. He
took over from Andrew Donald. He has worked with the 7IM group of
businesses since 2016 as an independent consultant.
Wealth Club, a UK-based investment service for high net worth and
sophisticated investors, appointed Susannah Streeter as chief
investment strategist.
Rathbones appointed two former Cazenove Capital portfolio
directors, James Hall and Daniel Curtis as investment
directors.
Impax Asset Management appointed Stuart White as executive
director, business development.
St James’s Place appointed Lea Blinoff as director of investment
solutions. Blinoff has more than 25 years of experience across
wealth management, investment solutions and risk management. Most
recently, she was co-founder and deputy CEO at Vestrata.
Aviva Investors appointed James Southern as business development
director within the firm’s UK Wealth team, based in London. He
reports to Jerome Nunan, head of UK Wealth. The role is a newly
formed one. Previously, for the past seven years, he was head of
financial institutions at UBS Asset Management.
Singapore-headquartered StateSquare Capital appointed Jonathan Ma
as a partner to lead its European business. Ma, who has 18 years
of private equity experience, was previously a partner at
Inflexion Private Equity, where he spent the past decade
investing in mid-market businesses across Europe.
Maerki Baumann & Co, a Zurich-based private bank, appointed
Konstantinos Ntefeloudis as its chief investment officer. He
succeeded Gérard Piasko, who had served as Maerki Baumann’s CIO
since 2018. Ntefeloudis has been with the bank since 2018.
Jersey-headquartered VG, a provider of private wealth, funds,
corporate and capital markets services, appointed William Douglas
as CEO. Douglas, who served in senior global roles with firms
such as JLL, Samsung and BlackBerry, was most recently the chief
commercial officer at Vistra.
Law firm Simmons & Simmons hired 10 partners in offices across
London, Paris, Brussels, Luxembourg, Singapore, Dubai and
Dublin.

The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners appointed senior
financial industry figure Emma Lovell as its new CEO, taking
the helm from Mark Walley.
Lombard Odier Investment Managers appointed Jenö Szabo as LOIM’s
head of sales for Switzerland. Based in Zurich, he reports to
Bettina Ducat, co-head, LOIM. Szabo has built a career spanning
senior roles at prominent asset management firms, Capital Group
and Wellington Management.
Helvetic Trust, a Swiss multi-family office, appointed Reto Frei
as senior partner, based in Zurich. He has worked in the private
banking sector for 15 years.
Algebris (UK), a global asset manager, appointed Sir Jon Cunliffe
as non-executive director and chair. Sir Jon has significant
experience in senior public service and financial policy at the
Bank of England, as well as expertise in governance and oversight
within the UK financial system. Before joining the Bank, Sir Jon
was the UK Permanent Representative to the European Union,
effective from January 2012.
Amundi made four senior appointments with immediate effect:
Alexandre Lefebvre as deputy head of Real Assets and
Alternatives; Pierre-Adrien Domon as chief executive officer of
Sabadell Asset Management; Michaël Martineau as chief executive
officer of Fund Channel; and Claire Chabrier as head of direct
investing – private markets within the Real Assets and
Alternatives division.
J O Hambro Capital Management appointed Josh Herson as fund
manager. Herson previously served as head of portfolio management
at Brooks Macdonald.
Afin Bank, a newly-launched specialist lender driven by a
strategy to serve the African community in the UK, made Tippie
Malgwi its head of High Net Worth and Diaspora Banking.
North America
TritonPoint Partners appointed Jonathan Amoia as a managing director. Based in Buffalo, New York, he manages about $300 million in assets for business owners and high net worth and ultra-HNW families. Amoia founded Advocate Wealth. Previously, he was partner and MD at Sand Hill Investment Management.
Chicago-based law firm Neal Gerber Eisenberg appointed Jeffrey D Glickman as a partner in its private wealth practice.
Perkins Coie, a law firm, appointed Mohsen Ghazi to join its private client services practice as a partner in Chicago. Ghazi counsels family offices, fund sponsors, and high net worth clients on structuring tax-advantaged funds and family offices in the US and abroad.
Pinnacle Associates appointed Amy Pastorino as financial planning director. Pastorino joined the firm in 2024 as senior financial planner. Prior to this, she served at Morgan Stanley as advanced planning and development director and financial planning director for the firm’s Midtown market in NYC.
Pritzker Alternative Strategies appointed Joseph Kusnan as senior advisor. Kusnan has more than 25 years of family office investing, advisory and consulting experience with family offices.
RBC Wealth Management – US added the Rottenberg Wealth Management Group in Florham Park, New Jersey. The team is led by father-son duo Hank and Matthew Rottenberg, both financial advisors – senior vice presidents. The team was previously at UBS where it managed nearly $400 million in client assets.
RBC Wealth Management – US added the Creative Strategies for Modern Wealth Group in the Syracuse, New York branch. The seven-person team, previously at UBS, includes: Michael Wirtheim, senior vice president and financial advisor; Ronald Scott, SVP and financial advisor; Nancy Collins, SVP, financial advisor; Ronald Molinari, SVP, financial advisor; Eric Petranchuk, financial associate; Emily Pascale, senior client associate; and Lea DiGiovanni, client associate.
SoundRidge Private Wealth, a Manhattan-based financial advisory practice affiliated with Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network, said Michael A Coraggio had become managing director. He joined from Janney Montgomery Scott.
Law firm ArentFox Schiff appointed Ilana Bley to join its private clients, trusts and estate practice in Chicago as a partner. Bley previously worked at Gould & Ratner.
Baird added Ken Murray as a director and financial advisor to its wealth management office in Fairfax, Virginia. Murray is supported by associate financial advisor Paul Brick and client assistant Rebecca Fakhar. Murray joined from Edelman Financial Engines, where he managed $320 million in assets.
Alto, a self-directed IRA platform that covers private markets, appointed Evan Deussing as its sales head, and Ari Koban as vice president of enterprise partnerships. Previously, Deussing was partner and managing director, head of distribution at PPB Capital Partners, where he was responsible for expanding the firm’s presence across the private wealth and RIA channels.
Carson Group launched its inaugural NextGen Advisor Council and the rollout of a new Carson Wealth career pathing program.

iCapital appointed Gary Gallagher as president, reporting to Lawrence Calcano, chairman and CEO. Previously, he served on the executive team at Fidelity Institutional, most recently as head of strategic business development.
Partners Capital made seven promotions to its leadership team, including appointments of three partners and four managing directors in its San Francisco, Boston, Dallas, London, and Singapore offices.

client CIO team, overseeing several of the firm’s private and
institutional clients in North America;

member of the private markets investment research team with a
focus on real estate, infrastructure, and private
equity;
-- Olivia Newell (MD, Dallas): Newell is a client CIO for
educational endowments, foundations, and private clients and she
launched and continues to lead the firm’s Dallas office;
and
-- Alyssa Rau (MD, Boston): Rau is head of fund services,
overseeing operations of the firm’s fund program.
Baird, a wealth management, asset management, investment banking/capital markets and private equity firm, appointed Janet Hawkins as an associate branch manager. She has held leadership positions at Morgan Stanley, Merrill Lynch, Charles Schwab and Ameriprise Financial.
Federated Hermes said RJ Gallo, senior vice president and deputy chief investment officer (CIO) for global fixed income and co-head of the Municipal Bond Group, had become CIO for global fixed income. He succeeded Robert Ostrowski, executive vice president and CIO for global fixed income.
Hightower Advisors appointed Bob Lavigne as chief compliance officer for Hightower Holdings. He reports to Hightower CEO Larry Restieri. Before this, Lavigne served as vice president and chief compliance officer at Edelman Financial Engines.
Vontobel, a Swiss investment firm, appointed Martin “Marty” Coughlin as consultant relationship manager – a newly-formed role. Previously, he worked at Lord Abbett, where he was responsible for consultant relations. Prior to that, Coughlin held a similar position at Boston Partners Global Investors.
Brighton Jones promoted Melinda Torres to chief marketing officer. Torres joined Brighton Jones in March 2025 following the acquisition of her branding agency Doubleknot Creative.
Glenmede appointed Joe Coconate as managing director and regional head of Florida. Coconate, based in the firm’s Palm Beach office, reports to Adam Douberly, director of regional markets. Coconate most recently served as director, senior banker, at Citi Private Bank. He also served in leadership roles at Northern Trust, Bank Leumi USA, and Credit Suisse.
AlTi Tiedemann Global named Brittany Cook as co-head of the wealth planning team; she partnered with longtime leader Jim Bertles. Since 2017, she has been with Tiedemann Trust Company in roles including wealth planner and fiduciary counsel.
Envestnet appointed Sue Burton as chief marketing officer, reporting to Chris Todd, CEO. Previously, Burton was senior vice president of marketing, digital, and member experience at Digital Federal Credit Union.
Gregory Kearney, an advisor formerly affiliated with LPL Financial, moved to Cetera. He is based in Westport, Connecticut.
The Financial Planning Association said Dan Galli, who is principal of Daniel J Galli & Associates, officially started his FPA presidency.
AllianceBernstein appointed Onur Erzan as its president.
Steward Partners, based in Stamford, Connecticut, appointed Keith Taylor as board chairman. Taylor, who served on its board since 2019, is also managing director at The Cynosure Group. Taylor succeeded Michael McMahon, who retired from his formal role as chairman.
Raymond James
The firm welcomed financial advisor Michael Thomason to its employee advisor channel. Thomason, who operates as Thomason Wealth Management of Raymond James in Frisco, Texas, was previously with Merrill Lynch.
The firm said financial advisor Janet Bone joined the employee advisor channel of Raymond James, based in St Louis, Missouri.
A team operating as Wahlen Advisory Group of Raymond James in Waukesha, Wisconsin joined US-listed Raymond James, having previously worked with Edward Jones.
Asia-Pacific
Arthur Fong joined Wisdom Family Office, a multi-family office, as managing director and senior advisor. Fong joined after concluding his role with Paragon Capital Management (Hong Kong), an external asset manager (EAM), on 15 January. He set up Paragon's Hong Kong office as its local CEO, establishing the firm's North Asia presence. He has also worked at Schroders, Bank of Singapore, Credit Suisse, UBS and Citigroup.
Raffles Family Office appointed Pradinan Arkarachinores as managing director, relationship manager, reporting to Kendrick Lee, CEO, Singapore. Arkarachinores has more than 20 years of experience in wealth management, most recently with BNP Paribas.
The private banking arm of Deutsche Bank appointed Stephen Yeung as director in the investment management team in the German bank’s North Asia coverage region. Based in Hong Kong and reporting to Stephen So, Yeung has more than 20 years of combined experience from UBS and Credit Suisse, where he was a senior investment consultant.
Fiera Capital, a Toronto-listed asset manager, hired Chinatsu Aoyama as director, private markets specialist, Fiera Capital Asia. Aoyama is based in Fiera’s Tokyo office. She reports to CJ Morrell, managing director, head of Japan at Fiera Capital Asia. Prior to his new post, Aoyama was a director at HQ Capital, a global private equity firm, based in Singapore.
Hanover, an executive search group, appointed Danny Jones, chief executive of his eponymous firm, Huddleston Jones. Based in Dubai, Jones leads Hanover’s regional platform, managing financial services in the GCC and wider Middle East-Asia corridors. He built the Huddleston Jones firm 13 years ago alongside Arran Huddleston. The group CEO of Hanover is James Emmett.
Singapore-based Lighthouse Canton appointed Gurjeet Sohi as managing director and head of Wealth Management for India. Sohi brought nearly three decades of experience from Deutsche Bank, where he held senior positions across wealth management and private banking.
Partners Capital made seven promotions to its leadership team, including appointments of three partners and four managing directors in its San Francisco, Boston, Dallas, London, and Singapore offices.
Farro Capital appointed Priyaka Dhingra as head of impact and sustainable finance. Dhingra has worked across family offices, institutional platforms, and multilateral initiatives.
Sun Life appointed Frankie Leung as the new chief agency officer for Asia. He is based in Hong Kong, reporting to David Broom, chief client and distribution officer, Asia.
Citi appointed Jessica Rowe as director, Spread Products Syndication, Australia and APAC and Dane Harris as vice president in the A$ Debt Syndicate team. Rowe previously spent 10 years at NAB, where she had a long track record of syndicating securitised products in the UK and Australian market. Most recently, Rowe spent the last four years running the syndication desk in London, connecting Australian issuers with the integral UK and EU investor base. Jessica was based in Sydney prior to that.
HSBC appointed Valentín Valderrábano as chief commercial officer for international wealth and premier banking. Valderrábano moved from New York to Hong Kong to take on the new role, reporting to Barry O’Byrne, chief executive officer, IWPB. Valderrábano joined from Citibank, where he most recently served as chief operating officer for its global wealth business.
Fairlight Capital Partners appointed William George as partner, part of its push into the advisor and family office markets in Australia, based in Sydney. George is a former associate director of the Table Club, a network of family offices in Australia. With roles at firms such KPMG Australia and PAC Partners, George has almost 15 years’ industry experience.
Pacific Life Re appointed Jia Yi Tan as its new global chief underwriting and claims officer, based in the Singapore office. Jia Yi Tan replaced Andrew Doran who took on the role of CEO at UnderwriteMe, the insurtech subsidiary of Pacific Life Re.
UBS Global Wealth Management appointed James Cheo to join its chief investment office team for the Asia-Pacific region, covering Southern Asia and Australia. He is based in Singapore and reports to Tan Min Lan, head CIO APAC. Prior to this, Cheo was at HSBC Global Private Banking and Wealth, where he served as regional CIO for Southeast Asia and India, leading cross-asset investment strategies for UHNW clients, family offices, and institutional investors.
Citigroup appointed Erica Poon Werkun as the head of research for Japan, Asia North & Australia (JANA) and Asia South, reporting to Lucy Baldwin, global head of research. She is based in Hong Kong. Poon Werkun joined Citigroup in June 2025 as JANA and Asia South deputy head of research and became the interim head of research for JANA and Asia South in September 2025. Prior to Citigroup, she was managing director and head of Asia Pacific Research at Credit Suisse from 2019 to 2024.
DBS Bank promoted one of its senior figures, Gregory Wu, as head of managed solutions for Hong Kong, reporting to Horace Zeng. This is a new position in Hong Kong. Prior to this, Wu was team lead, private bank and private assets, for three years and five months.
Standard Chartered appointed former Bank of Singapore figure Hu Hong as group market head in its private bank. Based in Singapore, Hu Hong reports to Foo Tian Ong, regional head, Southeast Asia and Singapore location head, Standard Chartered Global Private Bank.
The bank appointed Sundeep Gantori – based in Singapore – as global chief investment officer for equities, which was a new position at the bank. Gantori has close to two decades of experience as an equity strategist. He was previously at UBS, where he was most recently CIO equity strategist at UBS Global Wealth Management Chief Investment Office. The lender also named Jonathan Liang as chief investment officer for fixed income and foreign exchange – another new role.
Bank of Singapore appointed a former HSBC Global Private Banking relationship manager, Priyanka Maheshwari as executive director. She worked at HSBC for seven years at its private bank; before that, Maheshwari was at Citibank for more than three years as a relationship manager, and worked for more than five years at Standard Chartered, also as an RM.
The Hong Kong Investment Funds Association (HKIFA) appointed former senior UBS wealth management figure Paula Ip as chief executive. Ip has more than 30 years of experience in asset management and wealth advisory. She served in senior roles at leading international financial institutions, including UBS, GAM, ING, and JP Morgan (Chase) Asset Management.
Albert Yan, a former executive director at Morgan Stanley in Hong Kong, started a new job at Standard Chartered at its private banking arm in the Asian city. Yan worked at Morgan Stanley from June 2017.
