State Street CEO To Step Down, Firm Names Successor

State Street has announced that its chairman and chief executive, Ronald Logue, is to retire on 1 March, and will be replaced by Jay Hooley, currently president and chief operating officer.

Mr Logue assumed the post of CEO in 2004.

"Despite significant headwinds over the past 18 months, we have emerged over the course of the last five years as a stronger, more global organization,” he said in a statement.
