Stanhope Capital Hires From RBC For Jersey Business

The company, which has offices in London, Geneva and Jersey, is building up its Jersey team.
Investment office Stanhope Capital has hired Matthew Gambles from RBC as a senior director within its new Jersey operation.
Stanhope launched the Jersey business after getting the regulatory go-ahead from the Jersey Financial Services Commission earlier this year. In the newly-created role, Gambles will work with the operation's founding directors, David Nolan and Jonathan Overland.
He joins from RBC Wealth Management where he was director investment counsellor, advising families on investment strategies for their trusts and personal assets. He previously held discretionary management roles at UBS and Deutsche Bank.
“Jonathan and I have known and respected Matthew for many years during our respective careers working in the Channel Islands. We are excited about the opportunity of growing our business and bringing the Stanhope difference to Channel Islands based Fiduciaries, Family Offices and Private Client,” said Nolan.
Stanhope Capital oversees around $9 billion of investment assets on behalf of wealthy entrepreneurs, families, charities and other institutions worldwide.
