Standard Life Taps Credit Suisse for Multi-Asset Management Head

UK fund manager Standard Life Investments has appointed Guy Stern as head of multi-asset management. He was previously chief investment officer of multi-asset class solutions at Credit Suisse Asset Management for its UK and US divisions. Reporting to Euan Munro, head of multi-asset investing, Mr Stern will be responsible for overseeing the asset allocation of over £60 billion (about £120 billion) of assets in Standard Life Investments' multi-asset portfolios. The multi-asset investing team is made up of three functional units: strategic research, headed by Andrew Milligan, risk analysis, headed by Julian Coutts and multi-asset management.
