Standard Bank has launched the Strata account for professional trustees and corporate service providers. It offers banking and a money transmission service available in sterling, US dollars and euros with a choice of interest rate options, either a fixed rate to be applied across all their individual client accounts or a tiered interest rate structure, with higher rates applicable to larger balances. An offshore Visa debit card is also available plus sterling chequebooks and standing order and direct debit facilities. The account is available through Standard’s Jersey and Isle of Man offices with a dedicated relationship manager assigned to each intermediary holding accounts with the bank. The online service provides multiple account users with secure, real-time online access to account and investment portfolio details through a single log-in facility. Sterling electronic transfers via the online system can be made free of charge and no commission is levied on foreign exchange transactions.
