Standard Chartered Private Bank Sponsors Global Entrepreneur Body

Standard Chartered Private Bank is to sponsor The Indus Entrepreneurs, a US organization which the bank said is the world’s largest not-for-profit body for businesspeople.

TiE was founded in 1992 by a group of successful entrepreneurs with South Asian roots.  It has more than 12,000 members in 53 chapters across 12 countries and aims to foster entrepreneurship globally through mentoring, networking and education. 

The Standard Chartered Private Bank is the exclusive Global Sponsor in the banking category for 2009.  As well as working with TiE worldwide, the Bank will work closely with individual chapters within Standard Chartered’s key markets.
