Standard Bank Offshore Names Head Of Savings Products

Standard Bank Offshore has appointed Simon Ripton - latterly of Conister Bank - to the newly-created role of head of savings products in the Isle of Man.

While at Conister, Ripton had been head of sales and marketing and before this had worked in various marketing and product development roles at Alliance & Leicester.

In his new role Ripton will first focus on ensuring that the bank’s range of products keep step with clients’ needs and to use his product marketing experience to drive growth in the bank’s target markets, Standard Bank said in a statement.

In other recent developments, last month Standard Bank Offshore launched two new structured products, one focusing on developed markets and the other on emerging markets, which are called Quantum PLUS 4 and Emerging Accumulator respectively.
