Sri Lanka Wealth Manager Launches New Investment Product

NDB Aviva Wealth Management, the Sri Lanka-based investment unit of Sri Lanka's NDB Bank and the UK's Aviva, has launched four mutual fund products geared toward individual clients.

The MyEagleFunds series of risk-rated funds may be combined to build unique wealth management solutions to cover client needs from birth to retirement, the company said in a statement. Such life events ranging from marriage, education, retirement, and others may be achieved by selecting one fund or by combining the four under the series. The trustee of these funds are the Bank of Ceylon for the Eagle Growth Fund, Eagle Income Fund and the Eagle Gilt Edged Fund, while Deutsche Bank is the trustee for the Eagle Growth and Income Fund.

"The systematic investment plan and the systematic withdrawal plan of the 'myeaglefunds' series are two powerful options available to our clients to stay disciplined in achieving goals while creating regular cash flows to suit their life goals," Prabodha Samarasekera, chief executive of NDB Aviva, said.

The firm's wealth planning scheme is further backed by the launch of an interactive web site which allows registrants to create an account with NDB Aviva Wealth online and then track activities thereafter.

NDB Aviva Wealth Management has over Rs33 billion ($719 million) in funds under management with over 60 portfolios that cater to clients aged 21 to 60 years old.
