City National Bank has opened its first banking office in Atlanta in a bid to better serve its growing celebrity clientele.

The bank's entertainment and music industry clients include directors, actors, artists, songwriters, labels, lawyers, publishers, producers, talent agencies and nonprofit trade groups. Atlanta is home to many major entertainment studios including TBS of Time Warner, which produces the likes of CNN and Cartoon Network, and blockbuster filmmaker Tyler Perry Studios. 

The new office will be led by David Innes, who recently joined City National and brings over 20 years of financial services experience to the role. He reports to Holly Bell, an entertainment banker who heads City National's Nashville, Tennessee branch, which opened in June this year.

City National is a renowned bank in the entertainment industry, providing a range of financial services including wealth management for individuals as well as financing for films and television shows. The company currently provides banking services for around 40 per cent of all Broadway shows.
