Southwest Securities, a broker-dealer subsidiary of SWS Group, has hired Charles Eldemire from UBS in Texas as a regional director at its private client group

Eldemire will be responsible for the Gulf Coast region in his new role, encompassing ten offices in Texas and two in Oklahoma. He will also act as branch manager of the private client group office in Dallas, TX.

Eldemire is a UBS veteran, having worked for the US business of the Swiss firm for 22 years as a managing director based in Dallas, TX.

"As we pursue opportunities to continue expanding our retail brokerage business, we are fortunate to have Charlie on board to assist with these efforts," said Larry Tate, Southwest Securities' director of retail.
