Southeast Asia CEO At Swiss Private Bank Resigns

A senior figure in the Southeast Asia private banking industry has resigned from his post.
Eric Morin, chief executive of Bank J Safra Sarasin’s Southeast Asia business, has resigned from the Swiss banking group, this publication can confirm.
The bank declined to comment further and this publication was unable at the time of going to press to establish Morin’s future plans.
Morin had been at the bank since January 2013. Previously, he was market head and deputy chief executive for BNP Paribas Wealth Management in Singapore from March 2007 to October 2012, according to his LinkedIn profile.
In September last year, Bank J Safra Sarasin appointed Franck Schiller as a director focused on international markets, based in Singapore, this publication exclusively reported at the time. Schiller previously worked at Societe Generale, where he was a relationship manager at the French bank’s international team.
