SCBT Wealth Management, part of First Financial Holdings, has appointed Will Beecher as a senior vice president and trust advisor for the Charleston, SC, market.

Beecher, with more than ten years’ experience in wealth management, previously worked at Wachovia/Wells Fargo - most recently as a senior vice president and trust specialist for the Charleston market.

In his new role, he will focus primarily on trust and estate planning, relationship management and business development for the coastal South Carolina markets of SCBT and First Federal.

First Financial Holdings operates 146 locations in 19 South Carolina counties; 12 Georgia counties and four North Carolina counties.
