Sean Farrell has been appointed chief executive officer of South African RMB Private Bank with immediate effect. Willie Miller remains chief executive of the FNB Wealth Segment which includes RMB Private Bank, FNB Private Clients and FNB Trust Services. Mr Farrell has been the chief financial officer of the FNB Wealth Segment since October 2004, having joined Origin in 1998 as a credit analyst and a year later becoming its chief financial officer. When Origin and Ansbacher merged in 2002 to form RMB Private Bank, he became the company’s CFO. "I am delighted with Sean's appointment and welcome him as my successor. The FNB Wealth Segment has experienced tremendous growth, even more than we envisaged, in the last couple of years. I can now focus exclusively on building the Segment's growth platform with our teams at FNB Private Clients and RMB Private Bank," said Mr Miller.
