Société Générale Promotes CEO For Lyxor Subsidiary

Société Générale has appointed Inès de Dinechin as chief executive of its subsidiary Lyxor Asset Management, replacing Laurent Seyer who is leaving at the end of March to pursue other opportunities.
Dinechin - currently head of human resources - joined Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking in 1991, subsequently acquiring responsibility for derivatives sales for French corporates in 1994 and then heading the French and international teams until 2008.
The firm said in a statement that her replacement as head of human resources will be announced at a later stage.
Lyxor's four areas of expertise centre on alternative investments, indexing and ETFs, and quantitative and structured investments.
In December last year, Société Générale appointed two chief investment officers to its London and Luxembourg affiliates - Eric Verleyen and Alexandre Cegarra respectively.
More recently, it was reported that the firm would announce an overhaul of its private banking unit that would see Daniel Truchi replaced as head of private banking.
