Skandia, part of
Old Mutual
Wealth, has launched a new website for financial advisors
named the “informer” offering technical support and financial
planning information, replacing Skandia’s previous publication of
the same name.
The new site is also available as a mobile app and offers access
to technical commentary from financial experts, up-to date- fund
statistics and an industry event calendar. Available to UK and
offshore advisors, the site allows advisors to personalise their
own fund lists and highlight the context most relevant to their
business and clients.
The information available on the site includes the specialist tax
and financial planning support that was previously housed within
Skandia’s “Knowledge Direct” website.
“The online library is packed full of technical documents
covering a wide range of financial planning areas. By visiting
this free website, advisors and paraplanners can quickly access
the technical information most relevant to them when advising or
addressing client planning needs. It is also collaborative– we
will host content from advisors and we will closely track what’s
most popular, in order to guide future content ideas,” said
Michelle Andrews, marketing director at Skandia.
Skandia is part of Old Mutual Wealth, a retail investment
business that oversees £80.3 billion ($134.0 billion) in customer
investments as of June 2014.
