Skandia, a subsidiary of South African insurance giant Old Mutual, has outlined its senior UK management team following the restructuring of its UK businesses. The merger of Skandia Life, Skandia MultiFunds and Selestia, announced in May, is intended to deliver a clear and integrated product proposition to financial advisors. Skandia UK’s former strategy director Nick Dixon has been appointed commercial director, managing a new senior management team, which includes Billy Mackay, Peter Jordan, Nick Bladen, Graham Bentley, and Colin Jelley. Mr Mackay, Skandia’s marketing head, has taken on much of the role of Selestia's former marketing director Bill Vasilieff’s who departed in the summer. Mr Jordan is the new platform marketing head, responsible for Selestia Investment Solutions and Skandia Wrap. Mr Bladen takes on the new pension and bonds marketing head role, Mr Bentley is the head of investment marketing and Mr Jelley is the tax and financial planning head, responsible for Skandia’s tax mitigation and other financial planning solutions.
