Singapore-Based EAM Recruits Senior Ex-UBS Relationship Managers

Both joiners worked previously for UBS in Singapore.
HP Wealth Management, the Singapore-headquartered independent wealth manager, has appointed Michael Sutter and Alex Grindley as senior relationship managers.
Both join from UBS Singapore, where they held senior roles within the wealth management division. At HP Wealth Management, they will focus on building long-term client relationships under the firm's fee-based, bank-agnostic advisory model.
Urs Brutsch (pictured below), founder and managing partner of HP Wealth Management, said the appointments reflected the firm's appeal to experienced advisers seeking a more entrepreneurial platform. (WealthBriefingAsia spoke to Brutsch last spring about the EAM industry.)

"The fact that two senior practitioners join HP Wealth Management from the largest wealth manager in Asia is testament to the fact that we have the right platform where senior relationship managers find an environment which allows them to perform and to use their entrepreneurial spirit to develop a thriving business," Brutsch said. "We are pleased to welcome Michael and Alex and look forward to their contribution to the continued growth of the firm."
Sutter joins after more than 25 years at UBS.
