SimCorp Promotes Senior Figure To Chief Commercial Officer

The CCO has been at the Denmark-headquartered firm since the start of 2023, adding to a number of top-level appointments in 2025.
SimCorp, a fintech
firm, has promoted Dean McIntyre to chief commercial officer,
effective immediately. A spokesperson for SimCorp told this
publication that McIntyre is not SimCorp's first CCO, but it's
not a role the firm's had for the last two years - the previous
occupant of the position became chief revenue officer in
2023.
McIntyre will continue to report to chief revenue officer Oliver
Johnson.
At SimCorp since January 2023, McIntyre was initially appointed
as strategy director and then served as its global head of
commercial. Prior to that, he held senior posts at Bloomberg,
FactSet, Northern Trust, Schroders and UBS Global Asset
Management.
McIntyre is the third person to be placed in a senior role at
SimCorp this year. In April, Ronan Donnelly was promoted to chief
operations officer and in February, Keith Haberlin was named
global head of business services, sales. In addition, SimCorp has
made more than 350 internal promotions this year.
SimCorp, founded in Copenhagen in 1971, has more than 3,500
employees across five continents; it is a subsidiary of Germany's
Deutsche Börse Group. As of 2024, SimCorp includes Axioma, a
provider of risk and management, and portfolio optimization
solutions for buyside firms such as fund managers.
