SG Private Banking Hires From UBS for Head of IFA Relations

SG Private Banking has hired Laurent Brünisholz to the newly-created position of global Head of relations with independent financial advisors and external asset managers. He joins from the wealth management division of UBS France, where he was executive director, head of financial intermediaries. He will remain based in Paris, reporting to the commercial and marketing division of SG Private Banking. Mr Brünisholz will be in charge of coordinating and developing the private bank’s relations with these external financial intermediaries within the framework of SG Private Banking’s international development strategy. He started his career at Swiss Re, holding positions in sales and IT at the group’s headquarters in Zurich. In 1999, he was appointed company secretary of Swiss Re in New York, where he was in charge of the development and acquisition strategy of the company in the US. He then moved to the Canada office as key client manager before joining UBS in 2002.
