SFG Australia, the wealth management firm formerly called Snowball Group, has appointed a new head of actuate advice.

Dan Powell takes the role the head of actuate advice solution for the firm's B2B services business on 5 November 2012. 

Powell brings 25 years of wealth management experience to SFG Australia, most recently serving as director of corporate and IFA distribution at AMP. Prior to that, he worked as executive director of sales and marketing at ING Australia.

Actuate is a business model for dealer groups and practices which leverages the firm's infrastructure, products, services and skills to assist them to build value, productivity and profit in their businesses. The division works closely with Western Pacific, SFG's affiliate.
