Second Term for UK's Financial Complaints Commissioner

Sir Anthony Holland yesterday began his second term as the independent complaints commissioner for the Financial Services Authority (FSA). He is responsible for investigating complaints against the FSA, and operates outside the remit of the authority. He is also chairman of The Standards Board for England and a member of the board of the Pension Protection Fund. Sir Anthony is a former president of The Law Society, a former Principal Ombudsman to the Personal Investment Authority, and former chairman of the Northern Ireland Parades Commission. Sir Anthony succeeded Rosemary Radcliffe in 2004. She was the first Complaints Commissioner for the FSA since the inception of the complaints scheme in September 2001.
