SEC Names Deputy Director Of Investment Management

The Securities and Exchange Commission has named David Grim as deputy director of its investment management division.

Grim has worked in the investment management division for 17 years, most recently as assistant chief counsel. He joined the SEC in September 1995 as a staff attorney at the office of investment company regulation, moving to the office of chief counsel in 1998.

The SEC’s division of investment management aims to protect investors, promote informed investment decisions and assist with industry innovation in products and services through regulation of the asset management industry.
