Scottish Private Bank Relocates Aberdeen Office

The move is aimed at supporting the continued growth of the local office, which serves over 250 local clients.
Scottish private bank Adam & Company,
a subsidiary of the Royal Bank of Scotland, is relocating from
its current office at 9 Rubislaw Terrace, Aberdeen, which has
been its home for the last 13 years, to a development in 2
Marischal Square, Broad Street, Aberdeen AB10 1BL.
The team of nine will share the sixth floor of the building with
their colleagues in the corporate and commercial section of the
Royal Bank of Scotland.
The new office is aimed at supporting the continued growth of the
local office, which serves over 250 local clients, including
those working within oil and gas, agriculture, property, fishing,
life sciences, food and drink as well as many local
entrepreneurs.
“This is a significant and exciting investment for our branch
office, which will allow us to grow the business and showcase the
Adam brand and proposition to both new and existing clients,”
said Ian Massie, head of the Aberdeen office at Adam. “The
location is a prime city centre location, which has been a
significant factor in the decision to move and offers fantastic
views of the city as well as provide additional client meeting
rooms. We are delighted to be co-locating with our colleagues
from Royal Bank of Scotland corporate and commercial team which
will present even greater collaboration opportunities.”
In August, this publication
published H1 results of RBS’ private banking businesses,
comprising Coutts and Adam & Co, which reported an operating
profit of £151 million ($196.5 million) for the first six months
of 2018, surging by 85 per cent compared with a year earlier.
