London-based asset manager Schroders has hired Marina Bottero to be head of property fund management, Italy. She will be responsible for Schroders’ Italian property business and its expansion.

Ms Bottero has worked in the Italian commercial real estate sector for 20 years, most recently leading the investment team of Hines, Italy. From 1992 to 2002 she ran the Milan office of Jones Lang LaSalle.

At the same time Cristina Ferrari Bravo has been appointed head of property asset management, Italy. She has been with Schroders since 2003 and has been responsible for the asset management of Schroders’ shopping centre portfolio.
