Schroders Creates New Global Position

Schroders, the UK-based asset manager, has hired Lesley-Ann Morgan as senior strategist, a newly created role within the four-strong global strategic solutions team.

Morgan was latterly employed by Towers Watson, the US-based consulting firm, where she spent 18 years. In her latest role she was in charge of the delivery of investment solutions to clients, as well as a lead consultant to large pension schemes.

She will be based in the company’s headquarters in London and report to the team’s head, Neil Walton.

Schroders was set up in London in the beginning of the 19th century. It managed a portfolio amounting to £201.4 billion (about $323 billion) as of the end of March this year.
