Sarasin & Partners Reports AuM Gain After Strong 2019

The UK-based wealth management firm reported AuM figures for the year so far and other figures from 2019, pointing to a broadly stronger set of numbers.
Sarasin
& Partners, the global wealth manager, this week reported
that total assets under management reached £15.5 billion (around
$20 billion) at 9 September, rising by 5.4 per cent
from the end of 2019.
The firm, which is based in London, logged £338 million in net
investment inflow during 2019.
In 2019, the firm said that it had “cemented” its position in the
charities and private client segments - maintaining its
prominent position in the not-for-profit and charities sector in
the UK, while also expanding into the US. This led to a 15 per
cent increase in AuM for the charities division, which reached £7
billion at the end of 2019. Sarasin & Partners’ respected private
client division also saw strong organic growth, with AuM
increasing by 33 per cent to end the year to £4 billiom.
Sarasin & Partners’ Group revenue increased by 5.8 per cent to
£72.4 million in 2019. Operating profit fell by 0.8 per cent to
£24.9 million for 2019, after the business had committed to
growth spending, including investment in technology and talent.
