Sarasin & Partners Makes Two Hires To Charity Division

London-based Sarasin & Partners has added two new investment managers to its charity division.

London-based asset management group Sarasin & Partners has added two new investment managers to its charity division.

Alexander True joins from Standard Life Wealth, having previously managed private clients and charities at Credit Suisse.

Edmund Salveson was previously at Brewin Dolphin, where he spent eight years, latterly as deputy head of research.

"We are delighted to have been able to recruit two such high-calibre professionals.  Our charities business continues to grow and we have added to both clients and assets in each of the last eight years. Hiring Alexander and Edmund is an indication of the continued strategic importance of managing the investments of charities and other not-for-profit institutions," said Richard Maitland, partner and head of charites.

Sarasin & Partners manages £13.8 billion ($23.5 billion) on behalf of charities, institutions, intermediaries, pension funds and private clients.

The charities department at Sarasin & Partners currently works with approximately 320 clients with assets under management of £4.8 billion.
