Sarasin & Partners Adds Fund Manager

London-based investment manager Sarasin & Partners, part of Switzerland’s Bank Sarasin, has appointed Phil Collins as a fund manager in its team responsible for managing multi-asset portfolios.

Collins, with more than 25 years’ investment industry experience as a fund manager and analyst, spent 18 years at Newton Investment Management. His experience spans the management of both regulated funds and segregated institutional, charity and private client portfolios. Collins joins the Sarasin & Partners team responsible for £5.2 billion (around $8 billion) of multi-asset class portfolios, the firm said in a statement.

The asset management group currently manages £13.5 billion on behalf of charities, institutions, intermediaries, pension funds and private clients around the world.
