Santander Names New UK Private Banking Chief
Previous career stints include work at Barclays Wealth.
Santander UK
this week appointed Ben Covey as head of private banking, taking
over from Charlotte Platts who has moved to become head of wealth
at Santander.
Covey will reports to Platts, the bank said.
With more than 20 years’ experience in the UK wealth management
industry, Covey was most recently divisional manager for South
West and Central at Santander Private Banking.
Before this, Covey spent over a decade at Barclays Wealth
supporting private clients, charities and pension funds. His
roles included discretionary portfolio manager, private banker
and regional head in the South East.
Covey is also a Chartered Wealth Manager with the Chartered
Institute of Securities and Investments.
