SANNE Cleared To Widen Asia-Pacific Services

The firm says that by having the licence it can add to the offerings it already provides in the region, and the move comes after a key hire by the group.
Sanne Group Asia Limited, part of global group SANNE, has been cleared by Hong
Kong regulators to provide trust or company services in the
jurisdiction.
The authorisation means that SANNE can add to the services it
gives to Asia-Pacific alternative investment managers. The
clearance came under the Anti-Money Laundering and
Counter-Terrorist Financing Ordinance.
“Our new TCSP licence enables us to strengthen the services we
provide to our APAC clients from large asset managers, investment
funds, corporate and financial institutions. The awarding of our
TCSP licence enhances our funds capability in the region, which
fits our APAC growth strategy and further highlights our global
end-to-end services offering in Hong Kong,” Martin Schnaier,
chief commercial officer at SANNE, said.
The licence award comes about a year after the firm appointed
Mark Law, managing director, alternative assets – APAC &
Mauritius. He is based in Hong Kong.
