Sendero Wealth Management, a San Antonio, TX-based wealth management firm, has expanded its footprint to Dallas, the San Antonio Business Journal reports.

As part of its expansion Sendero has hired John Stanley Stevenson to lead its operations in North Texas, as managing director of the new office.

Stevenson has a 20-year background in the wealth management advice industry, having worked at Northern Trust and Belmont Wealth Management, the report says.

In his new role at Sendero he will be working with wealthy families and charitable institutions in the Dallas and Fort Worth markets.

Sendero Wealth Management is a registered investment advisor managing over $2.2 billion in assets for wealthy individuals and charitable institutions, according to the report.
