SALT, SkyBridge Capital Founder Appointed To BNB Standard Corp Board

The former Wall Street banker and a member of the White House team in the first Trump administration, Anthony Scaramucci is a recognizable face in today's world of finance, thought leadership and public commentary.
Anthony Scaramucci, the US businessman who has founded businesses
such as SkyBridge Capital and the SALT conference, thought
leadership and venture studio, has been appointed director of BNB
Standard Corporation. The organization, listed on the Nasdaq
market, manages the corporate treasury of BNB, formerly
known as binance coin.
BNB is the native digital asset of BNB Chain, which is a
blockchain ecosystem used for a variety of purposes. BNB is a
utility token and part of the growth of digital assets that have
become a feature of the wider financial services industry.
Scaramucci, who briefly worked for the first Trump
administration, founded SkyBridge Capital in 2005 and is its
managing partner. His SALT organization convenes senior figures
across finance, technology and policy. (The editor of this news
service is taking part in the SALT conference in London this
week.)
Before founding SkyBridge Capital, Scaramucci co-founded the
investment partnership Oscar Capital Management, which Neuberger
Berman acquired in 2001. Earlier, he worked in Private Wealth
Management at Goldman Sachs & Co. In 2017 he served as chief
strategy officer of the Export-Import Bank of the United States
and as White House Communications Director. He is a member of the
Council on Foreign Relations and the author of several books.
Scaramucci’s appointment increases BNB Standard Corporation’s
size to seven members. His qualities as an independent director
under Nasdaq rules, and his appointment satisfies the company's
obligation under its cooperation agreement with YZi Labs to
appoint an additional independent director, the group said in a
statement today.
“Last week we rang the Nasdaq opening bell to bring BNB to Wall
Street,” Alex Odagiu, CEO of BNB Standard Corporation, said.
“Anthony has been bringing digital assets to Wall Street since
2020, through products built for institutions and a conference
where allocators come to make up their minds. Few people are
better placed to help us make the case."
