Russian Company Appoints Head Of Wealth Management and Head of Investment

Aton Group, a Russia-based financial services company, has appointed Aleksey Ischenko as deputy general director, managing director for its wealth management division.
In his new role Mr Ischenko will be responsible for attracting new clients as well as work with the existing client database. His responsibilities will also include product range development and the development of individual investment solutions.
Mr Ischenko joined the company from Troika Dialog Asset Management, where he was managing director of the office for attracting new clients. Earlier, he occupied a similar position at Renaissance Investment Management.
Simultaneously Aton appointed Sergey Laptev as deputy general director, who will be responsible for investments at Aton Asset Management.
Mr Laptev will be responsible for overseeing the investment segment, and the development and execution of financial solutions for Aton Group’s largest clients. Also, he will be responsible for the development of the company’s international relations.
Mr Laptev joins the company from VTB Bank, where he worked as deputy head of the department for capital markets.
Prior to this, he worked for five years at Vnesheconombank as deputy head of department managing the Eurobond portfolio. Mr Laptev started his career in asset management at Moscow Interregional Commerce Bank and Russian-German Merchant Bank.
