Russia's Finam Appoints New Director

Finam, the Russian-based investment holding company, has promoted Eugene Zhilin to be director of its international markets brokerage services department.
In his new role Mr Zhilin will continue to work on the expansion of the firm’s range of services for Russian investors to access international exchange platforms and forex, as well as sales of domestic financial products for foreign investors, Finam said in a statement.
Prior to this appointment, Mr Zhilin headed the international markets forex-services department. He joined the firm in 2006 as a specialist within the consulting-analytical centre.
Currently, Finam’s clients have access to operations on all main exchanges in the US and Europe; the firm also works with foreign investors who are interested in investing in Russian assets.
The main tasks of the international markets brokerage services department are the development of Finam’s presence at an international level and to increase its client base, Mr Zhilin said in a statement, adding that the firm will continue to develop services for the international markets as a whole new range of services could emerge.
