Russell Makes Two Promotions To Drive Bank Partnerships

Russell Investments has promoted John Harrell and Paul Izzo to the role of national account executives, newly-created positions at the firm to drive its advisor-sold business in the US bank channel.

Each will manage the development and execution of strategies to distribute Russell's investment products through banks’ broker-dealers, and also form part of a team charged with establishing new strategic bank partnerships. The team is responsible for programs that expand the firm’s assets under management and for the success of its overall relationships.

During his career before Russell, Harrell worked at Dawson where he was involved in the launch of the bank investment platform.

Izzo, who is based in Houston, manages Russell's bank channel distribution program in the eastern United States. Prior to joining Russell in 2009 as a regional director, Izzo served as regional vice president with AXA Equitable.

“Both of these well-connected professionals bring the skills we need to build out the bank channel for Russell,” said Pamela Dawson, who spearheads bank channel distribution at Russell.
