RSM Appoints RBC Duo As Private Client Partners

The provider of audit, tax, and consultancy services has hired two UK tax experts from Royal Bank of Canada.

RSM has appointed two Royal Bank of Canada directors as private client partners within its London office.

Andrew Robins and Rachel de Souza join from RBC where they were co-directors of the Toronto-and Montreal-headquartered bank's UK tax practice.

Both have over 26 years of industry experience and bring expertise in all areas of UK personal taxation, specialising in matters affecting high net worth individuals, non-UK domiciled individuals, non-UK trusts, and members of corporate remuneration plans, RSM said.

Additionally, the pair have experience in advising on sensitive family matters, including legacy planning.

“They both have broad experience of advising on complex UK personal taxation issues and are an excellent addition to our practice, particularly given the imminent changes for international clients,” said Gary Heynes, RSM's head of private clients.
