Royal Statistics Show "New Wealth Is Overtaking Old Wealth In Britain” - Wealth-X

New figures from Wealth-X detailing the net worth of the top 14 adult members of the British royal line of succession suggest that “new wealth is overtaking old wealth in Britain”, says Mykolas Rambus, chief executive.
The net worth of the top adult members representing the royal line of succession “only” reached $1 billion, reinforcing the idea that new wealth is surpassing old wealth - a phenomenon which has “been suspected for some time,” according to Rambus.
The Queen – who is celebrating 60 years on the throne – tops the list with a net worth of at least $510 million, followed by Prince Charles, with at least $210 million.
Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge, ranks a “distant third”, with a modest $19 million.
“As the net worth figures do not include the possible inheritance of the crown jewels and the royal collection, only five members of the royal family are ultra high net worth individuals, worth $30 million and above,” the firm said.
Prince Andrew, the fourth in line to the throne, has a net worth of $45 million, while Prince Edward and Princess Anne are valued at $45 million and $30 million respectively.
