Rowan Dartington Recruits Lloyds TSB Private Banking Veteran

Rowan Dartington, the Bristol-based discretionary wealth manager, has appointed Kevin Bowhay as a discretionary fund manager, charging him primarily with growing the firm’s funds under management and supporting its expansion.

Bowhay joins from Lloyds TSB Private Banking, where he had worked for 25 years advising high and ultra high net worth clients.

In other recent big developments at Rowan Dartington, last month the firm launched a new Cheltenham branch under the leadership of former Coutts investment advisor David Smith. The new office is intended to give the firm further reach in the south of the UK.

Meanwhile, at the end of September Rowan Dartington launched an independent financial advisory business called Stafford House Investments. SHI provides investment solutions in a number of areas including pensions, post-retirement advice, tax planning and regular and single premium investments.

Rowan Dartington, which has six branches and 90 staff, currently has £200 million ($318 million) in assets under management.
