Rothschild AM Expands IFA Sales Team In France

Paris-based Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management has expanded its partner relationship team with the appointment of Benjamin Durand to oversee sales to independent financial advisors, particularly in Paris and western France.

Durand was latterly a manager at Gaspal Gestion before it became part of Group Quilvest Private Bank, which recently saw its Swiss and Parisian private banks merge with the wealth management side of Compagnie de Banque Privée.

Prior to this role Durand looked after French private banking, family office and brokerage clients at JP Morgan in London. He has also worked at BNP Paribas.

In his new role Durand will be at the centre of the sales team, said the firm in a statement. His appointment is said to reflect Edmond de Rothschild AM’s desire to strengthen its presence in the IFA market.

The firm's French partner relationship team is headed by Michel Dinet; it covers banks, wealth advisors, fund managers and multi-managers.
