Rothschild & Co Bank Chairman Steps Down

The bank and wealth management house announces a change at the top.

 The chairman of Rothschild & Co Bank, Bruno Pfister, is standing down from the role this summer, while remaining on the board until the end of 2019.

Gary Powell, chairman of the the firm's wealth management arm, takes over the post from Pfister. Powell has been at the firm for more than 25 years in various roles.

Alexandre de Rothschild will also step down from the board of Rothschild & Co Bank AG this summer. François Pérol, who joined Rothschild & Co in April 2018 as managing partner and co-chairman of the global executive committee, will replace him in addition to his existing responsibilities.
