Robeco Launches Emerging Markets 130/30 Fund

Dutch asset manager Robeco has launched a 130/30 emerging markets equities fund for institutional and private investors, aiming to generate returns above the S&P/IFC Composite Index. "Although growth in these areas is sensitive to the economic cycle, many of these markets have a healthy financial position and their prospects for continued growth are good," said Robeco in a statement. Set up as a Luxembourg-based SICAV with UCITS III status, the fund manager will be managed by Tim Dröge. The Robeco 130/30 Emerging Markets Equities will be managed using a quantitative model based on Robeco's stock-selection model, designed to identify attractive stocks through analysis of value, price momentum and earnings revision, and comparing them to the market average.
