Regions Introduces Wealth Management Leadership Team

New York-listed Regions Bank has created a wealth management leadership team, divided into four units: private wealth management, investment services, institutional services and insurance.
Led by Nick Stonestreet, the private wealth management group has over $22 billion in total assets, with 50 offices across 16 states. The group integrates the firm's personal trust and private banking groups, which have been led by Stonestreet since 2009.
As part of the new structure, new executives have been brought in to focus on client experience, product development and operations within the wealth management group.
Anne Copeland manages product and client experience. Prior to joining Regions she served as executive vice president and senior managing director within Wells Fargo’s wealth management unit.
Meanwhile, chief operating officer Mike Daniel is responsible for operations, technology, tax, incentive administration, reconciliation and control, and legal. He also oversees centralized trust account administration and the natural resources and real estate group, which manages natural resource and real estate properties held in client accounts.
The investment services group is led by Jim Nonnengard and offers fixed annuities, life insurance and wealth transfer products through other Regions branch associates.
Lastly, the firm's asset management and corporate trust units have merged to form the institutional services group, led by Ken Alderman. He is also chairman of Regions Investment Management, a registered investment advisor and wholly-owned subsidiary of Regions Financial managing equity, fixed income, and balanced portfolios for clients through proprietary separately managed accounts. The unit actively manages nearly $10 billion in assets for high net worth individuals and family offices, among other clients.
The insurance group is led by Curren Coco.
Regions Financial serves clients in 16 states across the South, Midwest and Texas.
