RBC Wealth Management Recruits MSSB Team

RBC Wealth Management has appointed Patrick Duff and Vincent Crudo, who have a combined $340 million in assets under management, as senior vice president - financial consultants for its New Haven, Connecticut office.
The pair join RBC Wealth Management from Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, where they were part of the institutional fixed income team; they have partnered for a total of 23 years. The third member of their team is senior associate Tracey Ten Eyck.
In their new roles Messrs Duff and Crudo focus on consulting and providing wealth management services to high net worth businesses. They report to Michael Jacobs, branch director.
The appointments bring RBC Wealth Management’s total hires in the US to 299 for 2009 – a significant increase on the firm’s previous recruitment record of 157 in 2008. The firm has hired 1,100 advisors globally year to date.
As reported earlier this week, RBC Wealth Management has appointed Santiago Cedron and Patricio Demaria to its Geneva-based Latin America team, to focus on clients in Mexico and Argentina respectively.
