RBC Wealth Management Names Singapore Trust Director

RBC Wealth Management, part of Royal Bank of Canada, has named a new private client director in its Singapore-based trust office.

In the new role Lionel Choi is responsible for managing the financial and estate planning interests of a portfolio of private clients across Asia-Pacific. He is based in Singapore and reports to Hilary May, managing director, RBC Trust Company (Singapore).

Choi joins from Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he worked since 2004. During his time with the firm he established and managed offshore wealth management structures that held a wide variety of assets including private equity, international real estate and portfolio investments.

RBC Wealth Management has more than C$562 billion (US$573 billion) of assets under administration, more than C$324 billion of assets under management and approximately 4,300 financial consultants, advisors, private bankers and trust officers.
