RBC Wealth Management Makes Senior Hire In Arizona

RBC Wealth Management has appointed Harold Langer of the Langer O’Neill Investment group as a senior vice president and financial advisor at the Tucson, AZ, office, according to branch director Richard Schaefer.
Langer - latterly a senior vice president at Merrill Lynch - has 30 years of industry experience and $180 million in assets under administration, with production of $1.2 million.
In other recent moves at Canada's RBC, yesterday it emerged that RBC Wealth Management International, a division serving high net worth clients in Latin America, the Caribbean and the US, has hired Nicolas Seigal as branch director in Miami, FL. He takes on responsibility for 13 advisors in the Miami office and a further eight in New York until a branch manager can be found for that office. He reports to Ricardo Morean, director of international advisory.
Seigal's new role is focused on growth, with RBC aiming to double its advisor headcount in the Miami and New York offices over the next two to three years.
October saw a raft of hires at the bank in October, ending last week with the addition of David Upin of the Upin group - latterly of Wells Fargo Advisors - as a senior vice president and financial advisor in Minneapolis, MN, along with investment associate Denis Meysembourg. Upin manages investments for high net worth individuals and entities, and has 30 years of industry experience, with $110 million in assets under administration and $1.5 million in production.
In the US, RBC Wealth Management has some $227 billion of AuA and operates as a division of RBC Capital Markets, which is a member of the New York Stock Exchange.
