RBC Wealth Management Appoints Richmond Branch Director

RBC Wealth Management has appointed Kevin Williams – formerly of Morgan Stanley Smith Barney – as senior vice president and branch director for its Richmond, Virginia office.

While at MSSB Williams was also a branch director and, according to RBC, was ranked top of all regional directors and recruiting managers for the Southeast region.

In his new role Williams reports to Timothy Jones, Southeast business development director, and will oversee 31 employees, 17 of whom are financial consultants.

In other recent hires at RBC Wealth Management, in June Charles Putney and William McCrae were added to the firm’s Portland, Oregon office as senior vice presidents and financial consultants. Previously having worked for UBS, they join with the team of Kelly Hale and Chuck Gall in providing portfolio allocation and advisory services for the firm's high net worth clients.

In the US RBC Wealth Management has more than 2,200 financial consultants based across 42 states.
